They are all in the pub watching the game and spending 4 times the cost of a match ticket.

I don't get it. We were just discussing here why on earth you'd watch all year and not bother going when it matters???

It is actually a sell out crowd. It's fancy dress night, unfortunately nearly everyone has come dressed as a seat.

What surprised me the most was that 9,500 turned up at Huddersfield last week to watch them win the League Leaders Shield, while this week the crowd is 7,900. What made 1,600 people decide against going to an even bigger and better quality match the following week? It was £10 a ticket for god sake. How can you sit through some of the regular season tripe and then not go when it really really matters? Our sport has strange fans. Really strange.
