Loads of tickets at Leeds, loads of tickets at RFL, loads of tickets for below face on ebay, loads of Club Wembley tickets cheap from the touts on the day. Other than that, yes, a sell out.

Not sure how touts would get hold of Club Wembley tickets?

Anyway, anyone trying to sell on eBay should be careful. A few years ago I had tickets and couldn't go due to the wife being very ill, so I put them on eBay. Unfortunately I was a little too descriptive and gave the exact seat numbers in the listing. Wasn't even asking face value, just hoping to get a bit of cash back and pass the tickets on.

The next day the RFL rang me and threatened to void the tickets unless I withdrew the sale. Good to know they dedicate so much time and expense in preventing onward ticket sales. F*cking fools. On the one hand they encourage you to buy as far in advance as we can, yet when unforeseen circumstances mean you can't attend they spit the dummy.

Anyway, I simply re-listed them on a friend's eBay account, and only provided section and row number, thus preventing the RFL tracking me down. Sold them for a bit less than face value.

Had an e-mail from the RFL this morning advertising Cup Final tickets - made a change as they're usually trying to flog me ones for the 4 nations - so it doesn't look too good at the moment.

We've got a group of ten tickets together and a few other lads have tried to get hold of tickets together and struggled.

Moron? I booked tickets for a woman in work this morning and was given a choice of four locations for her 7 tickets.

If they are struggling with the website I can understand it as it doesn't indicate which areas have been allocated for sale to other vendors like the clubs or external ticket agencies. If they ring they will be able to speak to someone who will give them a detailed run through of available tickets.

Very disapointing if Leeds dont sell out there allocation and not sure what it says about the Challenge Cup. Getting to Wembley not mean that much these days or is it more of not believing the team will win.

It's a combination of a poor season, several finals in a row (IIRC including this one it will 9 finals plus 4 WCC's since 2003), money being tight, last year's poor performance in the final & Wigan looking so strong. Understandably this will lead people to think whether the cost is worth it, especially those with families.

Leeds will take a decent amount though, just not as large as it has been in the past.

The four nations Double Header will be a factor too. I will be going to both the cup final and the double header, but if i only had money for one i would be watching the cup final on the BBC.

Fair point, didn't think of it like that. Still reckon it will be a big crowd on though. Is there a ticket counter anywhere like they have on some sites? I know the Wigan fans have one you can check.

The lack of a child's concession price doesn't help. The cheapest tickets available for myself,wife and Kids (5yo) and (3yo) was £84. Luckily I got 5 (£41) tickets off the bidding site for around £60

Yep, same here. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford both this year (I'm taking a wild guess that Leeds won't be in the Grand Final this year so can spend some of that money on the internationals

) so I shall be going to both, especially with the ten quid offer, but if I had to choose I'd have chosen the International over the Cup Final.


You're making a wild assumption there that the Leeds ticket office can count. It's gone past ten so they've run out of thumbs and fingers.

If it was Cas then who knows what number they'd be able to get up to.

I bet Red Hall are wishing Cas would have got there...or Wakefield,Salford,Bradford, The Hull clubs etc.

If Leeds don't sell out it is a poor showing,shatter any myth you need the "big" clubs at Wembley to sell out.

Warrington sold out when they got there because they hadn't been for years (not saying this is the only reason)

Hull KR would be similar. Hull don't get to these games often but have just as many fans as the big clubs.

Leeds fans have probably become lazy going to Old Trafford so many years and Wembley last year, it doesn't help that they are outsiders as well though.

Leeds fans are tighter than a nat's chuff. They dont go to C Cup games in any numbers at any stage.

team's supporters . All the Rhinos fans are not whiners . The Cas fans don't all have twelve fingers . The Wigan crowd probably don't actually eat that many pies . KR and Cru players are not all antipodeans .

We are exactly the same as any other team's fans . Our attendance is ruled by our finances . This month has been a heavy one for us .; Doncaster . home . Quins away , Wembley .

I missed Doncaster , but attended the home game V Cas . I am going to the Stoop and Wembley . A lot of money to spend in one month .

Explain why Leeds fans don't even turn up to home cc games in any numbers either? Wigan wire and hull all support the cc games better than Leeds. Why? Cos you're all tighter than a Gducks .

A previous poster has hit the nail on the head pretty much. I know season ticket holders who aren't going, purely because there's no novelty behind it for us anymore with what happened last year. Awful excuse for not going, but you can understand it, we've been in that many finals lately, they've lost their novelty, and people aren't willing to spend the money.

There have also been 2000 £41 tickets available for £21 from a certain online travel discounter. Would be p-d off if I'd paid full price...
