Wakefield haven't been bankrupt countless times. The crowds are a couple of hundred average less than Cas, maybe not in Wigan's league but still. There's quite a few teams that are poorer than Wakey when you look at the average over the franchise time. Wakey have won the Academy grand final in 2009 and have had plenty of youngsters come through.

Wakefield have a new owner and are now no longer under threat with finances.

Wakefield have a weakend squad but will still compete and have already rattled a few clubs.

Wakefield have better crowds than at least 3 other SL clubs and attendances are rising even though as you say we are poor on the field.

How can anybody want Wakefield relegated??? They are a good club, decent support and I for 1 couldn't give a toss about the state of their ground

If it's crazy you want why not go for a mascot royal rumble. First mascot out their team loses their licence

If all teams meet the minimum criteria, whatever that is we should just be adding teams. Thats called expansion and if we don' t try it there will never be enough players to go round.

I'd love us to expand the league, that would surely mean our game is growing. There's the argument there isn't enough quality to spread through the league though. What if every club had fewer imports and concentrated on improving the youngsters we already have. I think the standard of the league now (with our imports) is slightly better than the standard of our home grown players as a total. Taking away a few Aussies would weaken the league as a whole, but would this then be levelled out with more European players filling in those spots? As time goes on, these players improve surely and our efforts to bring in more youngsters would be higher. I think the RFL are wanting this to happen, but just can't bring themselves to dump the Aussie superstars right now.

The club is a laughing stock. I'm pretty sure Morgs kept his sunglasses on at the KC despite been in the shade due to embarrassment. Not sure about the chubby woman in cataract glasses next to him though

Who has wished death or been death riding wakefield? In my original post I said they were one of three clubs at risk, which I think is a fair statement, I cant see where anyone else has been death riding wakefield? Seems to me some fans are extremely paranoid

Not really, however there is enough at Quins to suggest they are heading in the right direction with a number of London lads now playing in SL and a bit of improvement on the pitch since Rob took over.

What we do need (and I know it has been done to death on here) is someone with a bit of fresh enthusiasm to get the good folk of London through the gates.

If I can travel from Hull to watch games I am sure there are a few hundred in London who would make an effort if they even knew the games were on.

It's a flawed idea, because in doing so you treat the whole club, based on the performance of just one element (albeit the major element) of it.
