No, my idea is a semi-pro team that will still be around in 5 years as opposed to one that moves or goes bust at the end of every season.

Crusaders will have to move mountains this season to get the kinds of attendances that they got last year because of the bankruptcy, the points deductions and the use of the stadium to finance their debts. All of these stem from their inability to pay their bills in Bridgend.

Not forgetting that having a semi pro club would mean actual real Welsh players playing at as high a level as they are currently able to play at , if they do improve to SL level , then they move to a SL club , if that club is in England , then so be it

I mean, imagine how stupid my sport would look if the local and National media in Wales chose to print such enthusiastic and positive articles in the build up to a new season.

Nope. We merely said that one junior club didn't justify Crusaders' inclusion in SL. I don't recall "ranting" about the game in general in Wales. Aside from Crusaders, I'd say it was generally in good health. I just don't agree that it is all (or even mostly) due to Crusaders being in SL.

As I posted to starbug, I honestly understand why you guys dont like the RFL or expansion clubs and I even understand why the Widnes supporters were upset (though personally, I have a far greater sympathy for the way Keighley and Workington were treated) and Im sure you guys would run the sport far better then anyone else possibly could.

But in the real world, the seaon starts in a fourtnight. Would it kill ya to call a truce and get behind the sport for just a little while?
