Couldn't agree more about the anti Hull chants when not playing the other Hull side. A group at HKR have started singing "We love East Hull" but it's not taken off like the moronic "We all hate Hull" one!

As for the post about chanting suggesting mindless people, well players seem to respond to a good atmosphere. Regardless of the quality of player in the World Club Challenge the other day, without the noise and atmosphere in Headingley I doubt we'd have got the same intensity and passion from either set of players.

The 'You don't know what you're doing' and the slow hand clap are just ridiculous. Why fans waste their energy on these has always baffled me. Plus any club song sung at an England international. It gets on my nerves when two fans of one club try singing their club song. Why?

Widnes fans singing 'London's a sh**hole, i want to go home'. Unless they were the Marlow branch of Widnes fans this is painfully unwitting irony.

Listen to the small group of village idiots at the East side of the South stand at Warrington if you want to hear some terrible chants. Cringeworthy manipulations of football songs with no apparent link to Warrington at all. The Man City 'We're not really here' was one I heard from them at the KC...

I also hate the 'Just can't get enough' chants that Wigan, Saints and the Village Idiots sing, it was a dull song when Depeche Mode sang it, and it's go no better in the last 20 odd years.

I like the old ones, the Old Faithful's, Annie's song for Saints and We're marching on together.

Dont know if this one travelled but at Salford a group of fans would sing an awful song about packets of sweets and cheeky smiles at whoever was that weeks villain...awful stuff

That is my favorite Saints chant. I also quite like the slow version of 'Oh When the Saints' when we do it. Spurs do this very well also.

Also when Bradford came to KC a few weeks back, the Bradford fans started chanting "Loyal Supporters!". Couldn't understand this one, aren't you supposed to be chanting for your team & not yourselves?
