| Quote ="gutterfax"Quins managed to get a crowd (3,381) over their seasons average (3176) gate to date? Can't imagine many Saints fans travelled down as they have already played at the stoop this year and had to fork out for jockland last week, so maybe there are a fair few ex-pat Saints fans in the London area.'"
i would say that Saints fans outnumbered the Quins fans yesterday.

I have heard this claim too many times to take it seriously. If you are saying that 1700 saints fans travelled down, I would hazzard a guess that you need help.
There are 2,000 Quins fans who turn up for every game.........without fail. I wasn't there, so I can't comment with any certainty, but I have never, in 10 years, seen the away fans outnumber the home fans in London....regardless of what is claimed.
1700 fans is essentially 23 top end 75 seater coaches......I believe there were 3 x 45 seaters yesterday.....so 1,500 drove down for a sunday afternoon game?....er, OK

I was there yesterday (as a neutral) - first trip to the stoop for a couple of years. The announced figure was pretty close to what I'd have guessed. I'd have guessed at most 500 Saints fans in the ground, going on the numbers cheering when they scored.

Not wanting to put the quins fans down here, but last year in the cup v huddersfield the crowd was 1,900 with around half that figure giants fans so those 2,000 failed to go to every game last year?

Agreed, 500, maybe 501 if you include Bent Haler. Good support from Saints given the amount of travel they have been doing of late, good game, well first half, and overall another step on the road to Quins getting back on track

Warrington did it a few season ago when at Brentford. They took well over 2,500 and of cas did it when at Charlton.

| Sorry to spoil this by putting a positive spin on Crusader attendances but we've sold 4,000 home tickets to date for the next home game against Wigan and the goons have asked for 4,000 so heading for another sell out.
I'm happy with that.

| I hope they do sell it out, Crusaders are good for the game in my opinion. I just think they missed a big opportunity on Sunday to get bums on seats and sell it to the Welsh public on telly.

The Wigan game will sell out easy.

950 Hudds fans in London? Are you talking about the year you made the CC final?
Sorry, but in 10 years of watching London BroncoQuins I have never seen the away fans outnumber the home fans....how many times to I have to say it? London Attendances are my chosen Mastermind subject.......
Example. Huddersfield are the 3rd worst draw in London after the frogs and the sheep worriers. The average gate when you come to town is 2,800 ( I do not count the stupid 12k reported for the first double header).....I have seen Saints, Wakey (fancy dress at Brentford) Wigan and Leeds with over 1,000 away fans and HKR have been close once....but never Huddersfield and 950 for a challenge cup game in london...you're 'avin a bubble mate

In fairness, the match prices were reduced from Super League prices (was £12 & £6 concessions as opposed to the usual £15-£20)

They looked weak in attack and fragile in defence in the match against Catalans. Yes they scored 30 odd points against them... but I carried out some scientific tests involving a simulator on my computer and my grandmother would actually have scored 85% of those.
If a side like Cats can score 30+ past them then Wigan on a good day should be able to double that.
These 'fantastic Aussie imports' you mention... the only one that seems to be making the headlines is Jarrod Sammut.. and he wasnt even good enough for the Panthers
Youngquest? Didnt really set the NRL on fire.
Tony Martin? Its all been downhill since 2000.
Michael Witt seems to be about the only stand out player so far

I love this Wigan being the best team in the comp lark
We'll see how they go come seasons end but they arent.
I genuinely hope they dont but I think it'll be Wigan by 20 at least.
Personally this week I fancy Hudds to turn Wigan over
Ol' Clinton looks so far out of this depth it's ridiculous. I'd take Richie Mathers anyday and thats saying something
