I'd imagine that Leeds will get an initial batch of 4000 and if they sell out more will be sent for the West Upper. There is no point opening it until it's definitely needed.

Yes but still gotta factor in travel and food costs - and the fact it's a trip to Hull will no doubt put a few off. Some ST holders only go to home games and would rather watch this one on the BBC.

Just because folks have a season ticket and get in free doesn't mean they'll actually go especially with it likely to be on TV. TBH I'd be surprised if more than 4000 Rhinos fans turn up (no disrespect to Rhinos fans, I'd be surprised if more than 4000 FC fans went to Headingley).

Cas vs Barrow COULD be a blinder of a game. Dewsbury vs Bradford should be a complete non-starter. I'd love to see Cas vs Barrow on TV but can't see the BBC risking it.

Cas-Barrow could be the pick of the round, especially as Cas are crippled by injuries and are playing a side that wants to be in SL... Barrow will be well up for this, and have the talent to cause an upset on the day.

Brilliant, the Hull game is on the Saturday. In Benidorm that weekend on a stag do. Its a shame for the 2 Rovers fans who are wth us as we fly back on the Sunday afternoon

The way Barrow have started this year, Cas shouldn't have many problems. Much can happen between now and when the tie is played though.

Never mind that: You've no time to be on here asking questions – shouldn't you be at the Stade Gilbert Brutus shoveling snow so this weekend's game goes ahead?

If the tie isn't scheduled for television, it's up to the home teams when the games are played and the announcements should be pretty imminent once arrangements are made. Would be very surprised if match dates are not set by the end of the week.

A week earlier though Widnes are playing Toulouse on a Saturday Night (instead of their normal Sunday 3pm match time), obviously to help with their travelling, so I'd expect the same for Lezignan.

I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be a Saturday. Toulouse have all of their championship games, home and away, on a Saturday. Travel would be difficult for part-time players otherwise.

For the Challenge Cup, the home team gets to choose - hence Lézignan playing on a Sunday at Rochdale last week. (And Whitehaven playing Pia's reserves rather than 1st team a year or two back, after haven switched the game to a Friday night). I think it's OK for cup games, as the French clubs typically play only one or two and it's not unreasonable to take the odd day off compared with having to do it every other week for the regular season.
