If you are in the front seat of a car travelling at 70mph and you throw a ball into the back seat the ball has gone backwards regardless of what direction the car is travelling.

If the ball travels forward it's a forward pass FFS

Relative to the ground, that ball will have gone forwards.

Yeah I think we should merge too, we should then let the Lands End Raiders in while Wigan and Saints Merge so that John O Groats Titans can come into the fray. While we are at it we should just do away with Leeds and Bradford all together because with Cas and Wakey we already have too many Yorkshire clubs.

As for the forward pass, I thought it looked ok, seen worse not given.

Rovers were poor as were Hudds for a lot of the game. It is not just Dobson that we are missing but Vella and Newton are massive to our side ticking over. For 65mins of the game we were pretty much still in the game then it seemed our heads dropped and the points went flooding in again. Worrying times for Rovers fans especially if Mason's passport isn't here within the next 3 weeks. To have a fully fit Dobson on the side lines would be an awful thought especially if we are still at 2 wins from 9 or 10 games.

Still Wigan were at the bottom of the pile a few years back but nearly got in the playoffs once Dobson came in so fingers crossed he'll do it for us again!

They're just waiting for me to get back for the Wigan and Hull game then they'll fire up!

My momentum is stopped/slowed but your momentum and the ball's momentum continues, meaning you'll catch the ball in front of where I actually passed it from and everyone screams 'FORWARD!'. The ball may well have gone forward, but the pass was backwards.

In many circumstances, you can pass it forwards relative to the pitch, and it be a legal pass. Agree?
