Of course, reading this, you'd get the impression that the St Helens players were, to a man, angelic figures last night, the paragons of virtue.

Of course, we'll have to ignore Pryces deliberate act of deviance in the opening minutes (it's foul play, regardless of "dangerous" it is), Wellens' attempts to intimidate the referee in the first half and Wilkin's actions towards Senior (hey, an old pro like that doesn't lose his temper over nothing).

But yes, it is only big, bad, nasty Leeds that are the problem.

Anyway, it was good to see Paul Wellens at full pace last night as Graham was walking to the fans. He almost kept up with him.

Saints aren't angelic figures and will often get punished for misdemeanours. But none of those incidents mentioned by yourself are anywhere near as bad as examples such as the chicken wing tackle, Lee Smith's high shot or Brent Webb's grapple.



Kept up with Danny McGuire in a chase though.

I'd put Senior's 9 tries, 11 assists, together with his winger's 28 tries against any of those. Not denying they are cracking players at all.

Your really saying you wouldnt have dobson or hodgson in your team over senior? I think dobsons 11 tries and 17 assists are better using that measure, hodgsons 10 tries and 8 assists dont stack up to bad either, using that measure.

As for how many tries his winger has scored, considering he wasnt even playing when all those tries were scored, and even when he was some had nothing to do with him, i cant see what that has to do with anything.

I'm not saying Senior is a better player. Offiah was the most dangerous player of his generation, but I'd rather have had Hanley any day. I can't make my mind up which player I'd rather have in my team - probably Dobson for his all round influence. But Dobson couldn't hold down a place in the NRL, whereas IMO Senior is still good enough.

Having just watched JJB's 'horrific' attack. I can say that it's not worth a ban at all! in fact its not worth six pages on an internet message site!
