The side underneath the cameras was much more full, being more shaded than the side facing. The attendance looks plausible when you factor that in.

forgive me for not joining in with the petty arguing and point scoring. maybe the reason the ground looked a bit empty at times is that the US fans seem to drift in well after kick off and again after half time. its something i've also noticed at toronto games

not sure why, its just an observation thing on my part. league express also made reference to this in today's issue. i think it might be because they are used to certain sports going on forever (hockey, gridiron etc) so they don't rush to watch all the action. tbf you kind of see similar happening in cricket tests in this country

It's rather different when comparing a game that lasts just over 90 minutes (including half-time) with one that can last for 5 days. It still suggests that they're maybe not that interested in the game itself if they're happy to miss large chunks of it?

Never in a million years was that ground a quarter full. I appreciate the sport needs to look credible and use a bit of artistic license, but pure fabrication isn't the way to go.
