4 losses already! The Super League minor premiers usually end up with 4-8 losses over the full season. So unless Leeds have a very very good last 20 games (which, with the injuries they have, I reckon they'll struggle with the next five games!) then I think Leeds are too far behind the pack to come top this year.

Next five games: Wigan (A), Bradford (H), Catalans (A), Hull FC (H), St Helens (A).

They'll be there or there abouts come GF time though. It's about time Leeds had a bit of bad luck with injuries though. They seem to come through most years untouched!

Totally agree to the above, I would imagine if Wigan beat Leeds next week then they will struggle to catch up to the Wigoons as far as the table goes.

Leeds: Ablett, Bailey, Buderus, Donald, Eastwood, Hall, Sinfield, Watkins, and after yesterday, maybe Peacock.

Catalans: Greenshields, Bosc, Baile.

Yes but as all Leeds players are supermen their injury crisis worse than other teams who have players injured.

the fact that they have probably the largest squad in SL the best academy etc is irrelevant.

We should all be feeling sorry for Leeds. remember they are not used to losing especially to teams they would normally walk all over. So stop using facts and give them some sympathy. Those poor Leeds fans are going through such a difficult time.

Rubbish. It was set up by a Widnes fan and not one genuine Leeds fan wants Bluey sacked, but then again the respectability of forums like this has long gone, with so many childish people just trying to get one over each other.

By the way, no one at leeds thinks its their right to win or are blaiming injuries.

We just know that come the business end, we have the players that can win the GF again from any of the top 8 positions. Its not impossible - just look how close Catalan came last season

Ahhh diddums to leeds.......injuries are part and parcel of the game...we have been wracked with injuries for 2008 and 2009 but was that mentioned...was it ball$...we got on with it and our league posistion showed....they will be there or there abouts at the end of season.

I've always found McLennan to be a decent chap in the face of 'adversity'. On both occasions that Cas have beaten Leeds during his [just over 2 years reign he has deflected the post match interviewers' questions that are seeking to give him an excuse for the loss (conditions, tough game the week before etc) and preferred to praise Cas as the better side on the night.

Whilst not expecting any coach to wish injuries on any player by the same score it was poor form where a group of fans started a wish list on their forum stating who they hoped their Tongan Mafia would injure during a match. Fortunately the mods eventually locked it.

There is a difference to fans wanting a bit of biff on the pitch, to a high level coach making comments in the media (tongue in cheek or not) about wishing injuries on other players...
