Au contraire, Castleford (and Halifax) should take the money whilst they can. What I am disputing is whether the Probiz grandiose plans for marketing the club UK wide and overseas has any credibility whatsoever.
As long as Probiz have no stake in the club or are propping up the club with a loan, it should be no concern of Cas as to what Probiz actually do.
As for hoping things go wrong before they start - hope has nothing to do with it. As many will know I am a flatcapper so nothing would give more pleasure than to see a flat-cap club like Cas succeed.
Anyway, lets just see how it all turns out eh?'"
Actually cas are an expansion club, formed 31 years after the formation of the northern union (and the most succesful expansion club i might add).'"

| I'm willing to bet that the Probiz Network 1) make loads of promises to Cas and Halifax; 2) get great publicity; then 3) become in dispute with the clubs and pay very little money.
It's a shill firm using the clubs to gain legitimacy.

Just souths trying to make room for a new sponsor who'll pay GI his wage
Couple of points Re Mr Feisal Nahaboo.
His Biog on the site says he's a pretty cool dude and mentions 3 large companies that have:
"All have given glowing endorsements for the results he creates and the integrity he breathes."
Fair dues to the guy..he's got nutz that's for sure but what worries me is that there is no real Biog in his Biog...it just says he's a cool dude...and Nat west RBS and AWD Chase De Vere have aligned themselves with him. Nowhere else is there anything on what he has done in the past, what qualifications he has or anything....not much of a biog if you ask me...more of a "trumpet blowing excercise".
If I had those firms 'ALIGN" themselves with me I'd have more logos on my jacket that Jenson Button
Next up....Michael Gerber and Peter Thomson...both apparently Gurus and Partners. This is another area for concern as these guys are essentially "presenters".....if they were any good at making money, why the hell would they be traipsing around the country dressed like used car salesmen ( [url=http://www.fngonline.com/entrepreneurs/see here[/url ) and presenting in hotels to schmucks?
Still.....the guy does seem to make a few quid...maybe he should use some of it to pay his bills [urlhttp://www.accountancyage.com/aa/news/1748040/probiz-hit-writ-cheque[/url...but I am being unfair.....that was over 2 years ago.
Seriously..well done Castleford, Halifax, west Brom and the tennis and cricket organisations this guy has publicly gone on record (23 pages on google) to support......and so long as you're getting cold hard cash (not cheques..see above) you carry on.
What was it the Egyptians Built?

Yup you are right, he cancelled a chq to a company he was in dispute with, I think Fax should demand he settles his sponsorship in pound coins just to make sure.

so how much cold hard cash have they given WBA then? As far as I understand it they are merely partners giving advice.

| Excellent news for Castleford, always enjoyed going there, one of the best atmospheres in RL. It look like their pp is going in tomorrow as well. Good luck with that.
Done a bit of background research, Cas have done brilliantly to get these on board. Good for the Tigers, good for RL.

So what research have you done - do tell.
As far as evidence for amounts of sponsorship by Probiz for WBA - none, at least none I can find on the internet anyway. But never mind the actual amount, there is no evidence that any cash is involved whatsoever..hardly sponsorship then is it...might be a partnership at best...

Just ask one of the "old" Cougars about similar a type of sponsor and what they got out of it!!!!
It was a round figure as you can imagine.
If this pays off then well done to all concerned, but what is the track record of this sponsor?

As I said a few pages ago, based on what the owner has said in the past about not needing any new franchise members, I can't see what he is sponsoring anybody for - I always thought sponsorship was to attract new customers (yet according to him he don't need any)
Given the premise of the business, I would always be sceptical about it, but only time will tell

That depends on whether PROBIZ are putting any money in with a view to a percentage ownership. If they are to have a stake in the Stadium, they may require interest on their investment or Cas to pay them a rent like some of these Housing Associations do when you buy half the equity in a property.
I am sure there is some reason for PROBIZ involvement that goes beyond sponsorship and is likely to relate to something in it financially for them.

I didn't say they were advertising for free. Probiz appear to be offering advice to WBA players and staff - pro bono if you will.
And although WBA are a Premiership side, they are hardly one of the big guns (still way bigger than any UK RL club of course). Just seems odd that neither side are talking about their being cash involved - yes you might make the assumption that there is..but then again that is what both sides would want you to think.
In any event, I don't particularly care (despite repeated posts on the topic!) what happens, and time will tell. I am primarily interested in this because I'm a CA and interested/skeptical about the business model of Probiz.
