New stand roofs being built on the big northern terrace, a western terrace roof, more covered seating, new bars, new food outlets upgraded toilet facilities, generally leaned up and made safer and mor accessible.
That's just forth fans there's mor gone on in terms of facilities for teams, physios, warm up areas ECT..
Just to make everyone mor comfortable and mor welcome ahead of our proposed move to a new stadium.

Is that all ready for 2012?
Sounds good. A roof on that away end sounds just up my street! Should create a better atmosphere and has the added bonus of keeping us dry.

That might result in better away fan attendances for one thing. It's always been a pig to get away from Wigan after a Friday night game, although, I was pleasantly surprised last season to see that the rail companies had finally put a later service on, meaning that it *was* actually possible to watch the entire game and still get back to Warrington afterwards. Providing that's still the case next season, I will again be parking at Warrington Bank Quay and then using the train, driving out of Wigan on a Friday evening is one of the most horrific away day experiences I've been through.

| I'm intrigued to see which team is the next to break the 10k mark.
I think Catalans will be so close, but need a bigger ground to get them bumper crowds to help them push over the five-figure mark.
Rovers need the extension finishing, and I reckon they'll be straight up to it. The East Stand extension will add 1k average alone (it will sell out), but whether it takes away from the rest of the ground we won't know. But better facilities will see an increase in away support.
Not quite sure what else Hudds can do to increase their crowds. They've already got dirt cheap tickets and a class facility. They must already be close to potential.
Widnes will get some great crowds for their return, but whether they can build on it with a successful side in the future will remain to be seen.
A new ground for Cas and/or Wakey will see them go close, if not break it.
Salford and London have little to no chance IMO.

not sure better facilities will see much of an increase in away support - look at us in the KC, we get some pityful turnouts from some visiting teams and we offer a dry seaten stadium with a great view from anywhere. its more geographical position along with silly kick off times

| Youre spot on there - for both Hull teams actually.
Me and the old man like to have a few beers and a steak before the game. That means driving is a no no. That means if a game kicks off at 8pm Friday night, it is impossible to get back to St Helens that night. I imagine its a similar story for Wigan, Warrington, Widnes and Salford fans. Sunday 3pm is OK for away supporters to travel to Hull, but I reckon Saturday teatime would get the best attendances from this side of the pennines.
Clearly its not an option to change kick off times around though as that messes up the home support, which is more important, obviously!

| Wakefield approaching 4,000 season tickets sold with records showing that over 500 of last years season ticket holders havnt bought yet.
A good start to the season and (fingers crossed) positive news from the stadium Public Inquiry could see a surge in interest.

Not knocking Huddersfield at all, but not every club has to do offers. I get the impression that generally there is a bit of a push to up the gates for 2012. It would be fantastic if more than 50% of clubs in SL could average over 10,000.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Yes, everyone does the earlybird offers. I'm on about the really cheap offers that yourselves and Bradford have done. If you want to fill the larger sized stadiums, what your club is doing is an answer.

| Our Marketing dept has been running a recruitment bonus for a couple of years now where you receive cash back on your season ticket if you persuade a non season ticket holder to buy commit to one.
One (10%), Two (20%), Three (35%), Four (60%), Five (100% cashback on your Season Ticket).
I saved quite a bit converting a couple of floating voters last season, I'd be suprised if other clubs weren't running similar schemes to this!!
