No arguments with that team - looks very strong

to all the Ben Westwood haters, yes he has his faults (he's a penalty machine) but the reason he's in that position so often is he's involved in most tackles. He's a fantastic player in defence and fearless going forward.

He's no world-beater that's for sure, but every team needs a Westwood-style player. Wish he was still at Belle Vue!

whys myler picked hes nowhere near ready for this level of rugby in fact how many games as he played recently for salford, for me crabtree needs to be picked off the bench we need a forward who can do something different than just take the ball up, weve bucket loads of them who will just play straight into the other teams hands, for me i would pick 5 props morley, crabtree, graham, peacock and lynch.

My scrum halves would be Myler and Brough. At stand off I'd have Tomkins and McGuire. Two from those four then Tony


I'd have Pryce in the centres if at all.

Burrow annd McGuire for me. Would love to see the petulant one at stand-off because i can see him giving the aussies a fright.

Can't be d going through five pages of drivel about him being biased, but it is worth pointing out that the only new member of the squad is Carvell, who I think most people would admit deserves his place, at least in the train on squad.

Morley, Westwood and Higham were all in last years WC squad and were three of the few players to actually perform pretty well.

Myler has been in the last couple of squads.

Has senior not retired? I see myler as our only 7 we've produced since Long. But he cant, due to his experience, organise and lead a side yet. Cooke would take some of the responsibility off him which no other english 6 could. My two problems with that side would be Briscoe and moving peacock to 2nd row but theres just no other mobile 2nd rowers good enough, Not the problems you saw.

I can't believe people are on here complaining about Morley and Carvell being picked for the national team, they are two of the best forwards in the league.

Higham used to get picked when he was a Wigan player and he has done alright at international level.

As for Westwood and Myler, people were quite pleased when they were picked for the squad in the past, they were the type of 'new names' who were in popular demand.

btw as a Hull fan I'm pleased that Tom Briscoe has been included. Even if he doesn't play it will be good for him to be around the international scene. And I will probably get shot down for this (in fact I know I will), but I would have him ahead of Gardner and even Fox, even at this stage of his career.

Its not a shock you'd have him over a Rovers player

It's got nothing to do with him being a Rovers player whatsoever. I said Fox because he will probably be the one who is picked, yet i would rather have Briscoe.

Gardner needs a great centre (Lyon, Gidley) and an average opposite winger.
