I ended up with the same dilemma a couple of years back, ended up going to Jameson's (Irish bar). It's about a kilometre from the main station/cathedral.

I've only ever watched RL in Notts the once (playoffs V you lot last year incidentally), at Southbank Bar by Trent Bridge & City Ground etc. Not quite city centre but not far away at all.
There's also a Walkabout, which I've heard often show RL? But don't take my word for it. |

The Pyrmont Bridge Hotel has Eurosport (foxtel ch 511) and has asked if anyone is going in to watch Super league to drop them an email the day before on bookings@pyrmontbridgehotel.com
Australia has certain rules on RSA (responsible service of alcohol) and the PBH adheres to these rules even at 7 in the morning, basically if your under the influence of alcohol you won't be allowed in. |
