That is my view too and I was screaming out to kick a drop goal at that point. We can't control the referee and change the mistakes we make, we can however control our game management and for me that was the most critical point in the match from the players control point of view.

They should have gone for a drop goal when six points up. The momentum was all with them at that point I doubt we'd have comeback.

On a serious note, why didn’t Wakey put the 1 over to go 2 scores up? I was having a text conversation at the time with one of my mates, also a Cas supporter, and we were both saying ‘1 pointer coming up, 2 scores up, game over’. Childs yet again cr@p for both sides. He needs giving some time out as whatever game I see him ref he’s rubbish. How can you check video ref for a ball out on the full but not for a blatant kick of the ball whilst grounding it and a potential double movement? There were bad decisions that went Wakeys way too. He’s a clown. Talking of clowns, how do I ignore Wexford’s posts someone??

Wakefield Trinity are not far off. Their points for and against suggests theyre invariably competitive and their losses are not hamnerings.

I don't think they'll trouble the top 4 spots, but they'll not be easy beats in the super 8s. They've turned over Saints and Wigan and lost by no more than a score against Wire, Cas & Hull.

Is this a joke? The first four words literally read ‘Wakey should have won’, that’s quite clearly me saying they were the better side and giving them credit. How on earth can Wakey be considered a top side? They’re 6th in a 12 team league, 3 points ahead of a side who’ve lost 7 in a row and 4 points behind a side whose season has been plagued by injury. They are definitely not a top side. I’d also like you to point out where I called Wakefield lowly or rubbish.

Do I really need to point out how they bottled it? They were 6 points up with less than 20 minutes to go and then got a penalty on half way from the kick off. Anyone with half a brain would have kicked the drop goal which might well have been enough. Instead, Kyle Wood put a rubbish kick in which Lomax collected and Grace scored straight after. They bottled it, end of. You talk some absolute rubbish.

Justin Holbrook in his post match report reckoned we could have been 30-0 up at half time. The media always say "Don't Right off the Saints", endorsed by Chris Chester and thats how it concluded.
