I'd be very disappointed if Bateieri (sp?) gets a ban for contact with Hicks there. Hicks comes running in and the player puts his hand up in a completely non threatening way and just puts his hand up to stop a collision.

Catalans played without a bench, with two (2) props, Sam Moa and Julien Bousquet unable to continue and hooker Paul Aiton also injured. Well done to Remy Casty for his double time. Well done to Catalans for scraping a win after being denied a fair try by an incompetent buffoon named Hicks.

Catalans had to play a simple risk free game, not spreading the ball wide, because they were so devoid of replacements in the centre of the field. I expect them to play a more attractive attacking game in future, as they challenge for top 4 position.

Hull look like they won't make the top 6.

I hope you'll be consistent and say Hull deserved to win for scoring more tries like you claimed when Catalans did the same in this game last year.

Catalans scored a first half try by Krisnan Inu but had it disallowed because the incompetent referee named Hicks failed to check upstairs with the video. It should have been two tries apiece, as you surely know.

Strange so much was made of Castys extra effort. He only did one Jamie Peacock sized stint.

Though Hull lost it in the halves. Sneyd was poor and Connor didn't look much better.

Catalans have found a good halves pairing with each having an excellent field kicking game. The three quarter line is also very good, and will be even better when young Fouad Yaha returns in week 8.

Well, thats 2 weeks on the bounce I've sat down to watch a game on TV only to have it ruined by that idiot Hicks. If he is a SL standard referee the game is in big trouble! Absolutely useless! I didn't think he could get worse than his performance last week, how wrong I was. How I got through the full 80 I don't know. I had to mute the TV as I just couldn't handle watching Hicks balls every decision up and listen to Cummings the clown at the same time

Although I think hicks is generally a poor ref I'd aim the criticism at the players, particularly those wearing black and white. Their discipline was terrible. Hicks had two choices, blow up at virtually every tackle or just once per set.
