You are right, i can't find any evidence of punishing 2003 MOS, former England and GB captain, winner of 8 SL titles, 4 WCC, and 2 CCs Jamie Peacock MBE being punished for homophobic abuse which only exists in your head. Just like you cant go back and make the RFL punish Richard Agar for a homophobic insult nobody else in the world knew of, you cant go back 11 years to 2003 when Jamie Peacock prove demonstrably, unequivocally, unarguably, he was worthy of winning the Man of Steel award, by winning the the Man of Steel award.

I realise that you win most arguments by default, largely due to attrition, and I'm not up for a long-winded quote-fest, but you've rather missed the point. There is no suggestion that RA called JC 'bent' in the press conference - he told me that he'd used the word during a post-match confrontation with JC in the tunnel and that JC included it in his match report, hence the severity of the punishment, which I believe was a record at the time.

It makes little difference now and FWIW, I don't see that it has any bearing on who wins MoS, but it's worthy of comment.
