All the above has always been part of the game, the game is played by big boys who make decisions themselves to get on the pitch and they get payed money to put themselves on the line. The game has been full of big hits some legal some not from both sides and the game is a far better spectacle 17 v 17

I would say a bit of both JGR, the French need to change what they are doing as it is ineffective but the Samoan line is very strong and is forcing them into a stuttering attack. They need to be more off the cuff as the set plays are easily readable.

Whilst it is a red in the law book (for a trip) it tends to be a yellow in interpretation and has been for quite a few years.

Poor French attack. Bosc has created little despite having some great field position, the only time they've looked dangerous is when Escare has had the ball in open space outwide.

They're very lucky to be still in this.

Think if the French side are to grow over the next few years they should look at developing Escare to the number six jersey as he has the pace to take the big lads on as they tire in the centre of the field. Bosc is alright but never great, what they would give for an Entat clone.
