Why would this be a neccessity ?
Plenty of RL clubs dont own their grounds and certainly the likes of Wigan and Hull FC seem to be doing ok.
Surely, it's about negotiating a decent rental agreement ?
Btw, good luck for the coming season

I think the needing to own the stadium way if thinking us due to Salford's low crowds. Wigan and Hull are averaging 5 figure crowds. Salford aren't, and realistically aren't going to for a long time. They need othe revenue streams.'"
As Wellsy13 states, paying a rational service charge to use a stadium, when you already have a 10,000 + ave and a successful team may work .
With Salford , any momentum through squad building has evaporated , our ave crowd increased only slightly compared to the Willows due to away crowd curiosity last season , but all our income streams - bar- kiosks - dining - stand sponsorship etc went , we lost all our senior game breaking players bar Jodie Broughton, we even lost our cheerleaders !
It is going to take 2-3 years of sustained investment on & off the field & sorting out parking & access to the site before we can expect 5 figure crowds.
