From the video footage it looks like the fireworks were outside a pub and the bottles were towards the back of the stand.

The club also needs to stick some lights onto that roof by the looks of things

I'm not saying both supporters weren't involved. But it's a futile argument - Cas fans believe Wakey fans threw the first bottle, Wakey other way. I didn't see. But the one I did see came from the Wakey end and the Cas fans retaliated. Both as bad each other.

The fact remains, however, that it shouldn't have even been in that position in the first place. An unnecessary divide was created and the said divide was poorly stewarded/policed.

So a firework was thrown outside a pub not in the ground, which pub was it because they're all closed in Belle Vue apart from the conny club

Reading this you'd think world war 3 had broken out. It was such a big issue i didn't even notice anything and i was maybe 150 meters away! And having spoken to someone who was in that area of the stand the incident started with both sets of fans chanting at each other. A few bottles were thrown from BOTH sides and a handful of fans from either club got ejected from the stadium. And that was that. Punish the individual culprits and put plans in place to ensure it doesn't happen again. End of story.

I've seen Fev home & away for the last 17 years and only heard about 3 incidents and 1 of those is unproven as to what has happened. As for the incident with Fax in the NRC semi final, many fans got life bans, security and stewarding has improved considerably since then. What you hear and read on these forums are so far from the truth it occasionally boards on slanderous.

The old place will be almost full and have a tremendous atmosphere infront of the sky cameras.

Cas should win and well, but it's a local derby in the cup - anything can happen.

We were in the Woodhill/Woodhouse WMC(LINNET) in Normanton, Having some friendly banter with the Wakefield lot in there, When 1 took exception, We were watching the Wigan Vs Saints game, And as soon as it ended we left. This one guy followed us outside, And started firing fireworks out towards the main road, There were kids over the road, And one hit me on the leg, No real damage, Enough to leave a mark, And burn the hairs of my leg. To stop the trouble escalating, We carried on walking. And laughed it off. This was about 4.30pm. This guy was spotted in the ground just before kick off, And was later pointed out to the stewards. These fireworks were obviously heading with him to the ground.

I have made the RFL and Wakefield aware of this. Its fact, And i hope the scumbag is banned for life. Not for aiming at me, But there were kids over the road. Idiot.

There is a massive, significant difference between the two grounds and you well know it.

Had Wakefield got another stand at the opposite end of the ground this would not have happened, simple as.

Featherstone have allocated a stand each so both sets of fans are going to be reasonably happy.

Sticking both sets of fans at the same end with a divide down the middle, is a different kettle of fish as you well know.

So segregation is a stand each and the home stand is not allowed to be better than the away stand is that how it works? Cas should have gone we they were first told east stand lower, north stand home only and no problems

No, it wouldn't have been segregation in a sense if both clubs had an area each. Wakey wouldn't have needed to make any statements, there would have been no pre-match arguments etc and fans would have been free to go where they like. But both clubs would have no doubt congregated at either end, if there were two stands.

Wakey could do that - but only if they produce tickets to fans stating East Stand standing only.
