Before you go off on one you should read his post again. He said NEW grounds.
PS: You should do some research before making such comments as well (and not always believe ill-informed peers on the Wakey forum).

He's said nothing either wrong nor not in the public doamin. Cas own their ground, but before they can 'cash in' there are charges against the ground which need to be addressed. It doesn't change anything about their proposals, so why get touchy about it?

| Ive never understood why the Bulls won't share Valley Parade with City. Ready made all seater premiership standard stadium with unspoilt views within their city limits. City in their current state would be very open to shared ownership and a joint buy-out of the current owner Im sure....or they could keep chucking money down the drain on the upkeep of Odsal and pie in the sky projects that will never happen.

When you are GIVEN a stadium FOC including a load a dosh (even from keighley folk who get SFA for their team) you don't throw it away!!!

All three of the football teams would not have had the stadiums if the RL clubs had not agreed to share and vice versa. They are not soccer ( we started being fat yankee's now ? ) stadiums either, they are community stadiums.

New grounds? Why have Castleford or Wakefield started theirs yet?

I'll SIMPLIFY IT!!!!!! for those who failed thinking at the 1st fence.
If you have a WINNING team they may come, if you don't you will only get a few diehards.
Not that there is much evidence to prove such thing.
Look at the lock outs at the Keepmoat for example and LSV, and as for the halton stadium, be there Widnes or Saints playing the congestion and gridlock on the roads and the clamouring to get into the stadium are all evidence that the theory works!!!
Yep.
Once again a brand new shiny stadium guarantees a massive attendance. It has nothing to do with what happens on the field

"Multiple charges"? He makes it sound like everyone has something against the ground, which is simply not the case.
And can't charges be carried across to the new asset because we'll own the new stadium? i.e. Stadium to stadium

He states how many of these stadiums ARE or WILL BE - note 'will be' - owned by the team.

Although not a Bradfordian per se, my observation is that Valley Parade is (sort of) the right stadium in completely, disastrously, the wrong place. Odsal is the wrong stadium in the right place.

No - the charges are settled before the club recieves the balance of any funds due from the sale. There are 'multiple' charges, i.e. more than one - 3 from what I can tell (this isn't my field of work) - Jack Fulton, Carlsberg and Barclays. There are no details of what these amount to, but these are listed in the land registry.
There would be no reason to continue these on the new stadium, but further charges may be required as part of the funding package - i.e. to provide security against borrowings.
This may no longer be an issue (if you recieve sufficient funding from Tesco), but if you are to own the ground, how do get your hands on the councils money as that cannot be given to a private venture? Genuine question?

Tigers Trust, which will be situated/based out of the new stadium and therefore using it for educational facilities etc.

That is a joke, moving the temporary stand. It should be scrapped. When Rovers got promoted to Super League, that was only supposed to be in place for a couple of years. How the RFL can give a franchise to a club with a permanent temporary stand is laughable'" Psst.

Looks very much like I expect the temporary stand on the northern terrace at BV to look like.
My we could have done with that yesterday, but hey ho, we're from Yorkshire a bit of rain never hurt us!

They have built a brand new stand in its place which is probably one of the best in super league behind the goals.

And of what possible benefit is that to RL? I know we need a succesful London club, but someone has to take a hold of that franchise and shake it up from top to bottom. I just can't see it being succesful until it has its own identity away from RU!

All I was doing was defending the facilities. The poster had their facts wrong because that stand is no longer there. It would be like me posting a picture of the old east terrace at Leeds even though it is now the Carnegie stand.
I mentioned nothing about the benefit to RL or Quins as a RL franchise.

If its fit for purpose and safe , it shouldn't come into the equation , and I speak as a fan of the club with the latest stadium bulit
