| There has been a few. The 2001 CC win over Salford at Hilton Park was pretty special as was the tie away at Warrington in the next round.
I'd say the 2001 CC win over Salford
The 2004 Grand Final win over Whitehaven
Beating Hull KR in the NRC Final in 2006 when no-one, even our own fans gave us a chance.
Although it wasn't a win, the experience of my first Leigh v Wigan game in the CC Quarter Final in 2002 was special. Hilton Park absolutely packed and something i'll never forget.

If it wasn't for a bent video ref giving 'Benefit of the doubt' (how does that even make sense in the context of scoring a try?! ), that trophy would have been ours.

| Most memorable for me was our win at Warrington by a whopping 3 points to 2 in 90-91 season. Cracking game that has just stuck with me through the years.

They did fella, well in the 95/96 season. If you recall we had that short season between August to Jan as we went from Winter to summer rugby. It was an amazing match, one of the best I've seen when we've been on the losing side. Keighley won 14-22 in front of over 5k, after that, yeah we played them a further 4 times during that period winning them all fairly comfortably.

Promotion was the catalyst to everything which has happened since, so definitley my favourite moment. And claiming more S.L. derby victories since our neighbours "eight easy points"

Beating Salford at the Willows in a cracking night match, the same season they turned Wigan over in the cup.
We'd just beat Huddersfield in the Division 2 Premiership final playing really well. Wigan were giving Leeds an almighty stuffing in the main event, and "Bring on the Cougars" started ringing around Old Trafford with the Wigan and Leeds fans telling us what a good side we looked and we deserved to be in Super League. I felt about 10ft tall.
Beating Super League Fax at Thrum Hall in the Challenge Cup.
Nick Pinkney's 80 yard try in the World Cup for England against South Africa. A Keighley player scoring for England, I doubt I'll ever see that again.'"

It was Wednesday 20 September 1995, because I remember getting in to the car after the game and Man U had just been stuffed 3-0 at Old Trafford by York in the League Cup.

We had a cracking rivallry with Huddersfield back then. Mick O'Neill really was an amazing MC, the voice of of Cougarmania and one of the driving forces behind the scenes.
Shame it ended after we were screwed out of the Super League, losing our backers, and you guys went on to bigger things on the back of moving to the McAlpine.

| Actually Leeds vs Huddersfield, 2006 Challenge Cup Semi Final, no-one gave us a chance. It was by far the greatest moment to be a Fartown fan of the modern era, followed closely by the one Keighley Huddersfield game, I only remember it vaguely, but I remember it was excellent.

I'm thinking of the season after mate the time we won promotion to super league. They didn't beat us that year I've just finished watching the "march to super league" video to double check and as I thought we got beat twice of Hull and Fev away.
You are quite right about the season before, I'm confusing the two seasons up with each other

| One of the top days in recent memory for Widnes has to be the NFP semi-final win at Leigh which sent us on our way to SL. I was a young lad on holidays at the time and frantically searched the papers for the score, which I couldn't quite believe. Would love to watch the game if there was a video out there.
For me personally, beating Wigan away in 2003 was a sweet night.

37 Thousand people in a packed Central Park., with thousands locked outside.
Best game without any tries I have ever seen.'"
I was there that night and there was no way on earth there were only 37k on. You couldn't move. 12 months previous there were 30,000 on against Australia and there was a lot more room to move. This was also the exact same ground that had had 47k on about 10 or 15 years previous against St Helens. So unless people were stood on each other's heads against St Helens then I would imagine that the crowd was nearer to that figure against Manly.
