Adey is not making excuses, however it was noted at the start of the season that we have a small squad lacking depth and with only one halfback. We were always going to struggle once we got a few injuries particularly to Orford although I didn't expect us to struggle to the extent that we are at present.

Why was Orford sat on the sidelines watching the Manly game in Gosford?

Because he's getting 5 and and half grand a week to rehabiliate in Australia
