See, history, wherever it is taught, generally sticks to the facts of what happened and I am sure that I heard somewhere that there's a hotel in Huddersfield where RL was born....but my little re-offender, don't let a little thing like facts get in the way.
It may well be that you crims are better at League (and most other sports), but the simple Facts are, you have and in all probability, never really provided much in the way of new ideas to the global table, in any dicipline. So, the English didn't bring it to Australia eh? Did one of you lot nick it then? The meeting that took place in Bateman's Crystal Hotel in 1907.....and it was just a coincidence that the name and rules applied were pretty similar (try almost exactly the same) to those developed in the North of England.....
