not trying to be funny here wakey fans but what is the reason fro the drop in crowds? i thought wakey were picking up on and off the field? thought you might be hitting 7/8 k this year, is there a valid reason why despite having a decent season on the field your crowds are down by around 1,000?

Not a clue, the crowds have been very disappointing this year. The club are doing good work in the schools and community but the problem lies in the apathetic Wakefield public.

I'm not entirely sure, but it doesn't help when the admission price is 18 quid when most families are struggling for cash. We do have some of the better attended games to come though, Leeds, Cas, both Hull sides at home so our average should improve a little.

I appreciate that like many in wakefield you find it difficult to answer questions.

Yeah Belle Vue being a state of the art stadium always pulls in the away fans! Or it might be that Leeds and Cas are local derbies and KR are doing well in the league

Naming rights was always going to be drawn at that time and no that was not the deal. The deal was the name picked out of the hat got the rights to the ground name, which will still be known as BV.

Confident we will get a new ground, as anything only time will tell.
