The number of imports at both the Hull clubs is quite disappointing, the majority of them being pretty poor too (no pun intended).

I'd disagree with that opinion for Rovers. With the exception of the two PNG players Maki and Paniu who are going to be playing alot for Gateshead under Stanley Gene till they get up to speed with the game over here then I think we've recruited really well. They are project players and in a years time they may prove astute signings.

Why would there be an exception made for the PNG players? They've been signed by Rovers have they not? Weird.

Like I said, for a so-called 'hot bed' of RL, the number and quality of imports is very disappointing.

Weyman & Keating are the only two at Rovers who'll really add anything. The other lot are unnecessary. Burns is awful, Costigan & Poore average, Larroyer is pants and the two PNG lads?

At Hull, the only two I really rate are Heremaia & Paea. The others (Miller, Feka, Talanoa, McDonnell) will be on the edges struggling to get a start.

We are playing by the same rules as everyone else. The problem with the number of quota players lies with the RFL, if we were only allowed 3 then we would only have 3. Just for balance, our likely back 5 will be Eden Hodgson Welham Gleeson Cockayne. With Hall and Salter as the main backup to these positions and they are all British but hey ho.
