as I have said, London Broncos don't need any justification for their place in Superleague...they have never finished in a relegation position and never cheated the cap to do so......unlike other bigger clubs

I chose to ignore them as they offer nothing to the argument that people generally have no interest in London Broncos.

Their attendances show it and each Super League clubs attendances show it - There we go, facts that back up the argument.

If London loose their spot in the top league, all we have left is a Northern game in the UK & the next time we get round the table with the games benefactors the money they offer would be far less than we get at the moment.

The crowds at the broncos are poor but that is a problem what i don't think will change whilst the club shares a name with the quins, hopefully now they have reverted to the London Broncos, they might get better recognition from Joe public. when you have a RU team called the Harlequins housing a RL club called the Harlequins, it's a bit blurry, now they have reverted to the Broncos their identity is their own, and not shared with a well established RU club,.. Lets hope the name change works and some of the fans who they got in the past come back, if that happens all the talk about getting rid of London will be muted.

Sure, they should. But they don't. Play-off games pretty much always draw lower crowds than any fixtures in the regular season.

I'm not saying I agree with the 'other flat capper' (not sure why you feel the need to call me that) but the evidence you used to prove your point is utter garbage.

You see those two lowest crowds, the Catalan playoff games? If Wigan had played London, the crowd would have been equally low and probably lower. And no, I don't have the stats to back that up.

2008-2012 at the JJB/DW Stadium. 72 games less 7 play off ties now removed is 5 seasons at 13 home games = 65.

Top 20 worst attended games......London are there 3 times (top 10 they're only there once)and not occupyng the top 5 spots as the original flatcapper was alluding to.

You attempted to rubbish the earlier stats because of play-off games...I have removed them and STILL shown that London are not on average the worst draw card for games at the JJB/DW Stadium

You do realise that in 2009 and 2010 ticket prices for the Wigan - Quins game were cut severely. Wigan have often used this tactic for games that are expected to have a particularly low crowd, to attract kids and sponsors.

I'm not sure how this is proving your point.

If London are a team nobody is interested in, then it makes no difference if tickets are a fiver or 20 notes....surely nobody would attend anyway?

Not really a claim though is it? It's known that they've had Heinz in for one of these games on cheap tickets, filling the North Stand. Unless you think they were all Quins fans are came specifically to see them, I think even you won't be so naive to accept that it's because of this that the crowd was as high as it was.

If there are cheap tickets on the go and people accept then, it doesn't mean they have an interest in the away team. It's far more likely that it's because they have an interest in the home team and want to take advantage of a good deal regardless of the opposition.

It isn't a claim? I myself got a a free ticket for the north stand for a London game, I believe it may have been 2009 or 2010.

Yes but London's attendances are our business though aren't they as are any other clubs. Bronco's attendances reflect on the elete competition of RL in the UK and its an embarassment.
