I'm back for the derby in May, will be nice to attend a game with an atmosphere, having only NRL to watch I have nearly forgotten what its like!

Since 2005 we've spent a lot of money on the floodlights, pitch new stands. It all takes time and of course money. You can see on the bottom picture, The east stand extension will run to the end of the pitch gaining us roughly 20-30 yards of extra terracing..

Its a nicer picture but it doesnt reeeally show a lot does it

Apart from the fact that the top picture shows the pitch in the middle of a speedway and greyhound track thus making it the size of a postage stamp and the second picture clearly shows the pitch is now full length and width.
And apart from the fact that Easty is also showing you where the new extension is going to go, Infact the text below the pictures gives you a clue about all this, Shame you missed it.

Your not given a choice though, perhaps if they collected it cash at the turnstile it would be fairer, I for one would stick more than a quid in, but at least it would be a voluntary contribution.

The Hull KR chairman, Neil Hudgell is a very well respected businessman and is quick to put his hand in his pocket for many good causes; ask many of the Championship sides, they will tell you. It's a shame more local Hull businessmen don't do the same, I suppose you bad-mouth the new Hull City owners too! IMO all Superleague chairmen deserve a massive pat on the back for their personal time, effort and money, or else most of the clubs would not exist or be run like Hull FC- owners not prepared to push the boat outfear of financial losses.

last time I checked we have airplanes in Australia. I appreciate when you are on home detention you can't go far but for the rest of us the worlds our oyster.

try and extend the roger millward stand too, why they built it like that originally not running the full length of the field i wonder

Dear me, not from you lot they won't.

Think the RM stand was built like that in 1989 because the money for the old ground wasn't used with the club in mind by those that had power over it!

The North stand pictures show that executive boxes will be built connecting the two stands together and hopefully in the future when a South stand is built the same will be done while not extending the stand its self at least the corporate facilities will be greatly improved. I think by 2015/16 we should see 4 proper sides to the ground, nearer the pitch and much better facilities for everyone. Maybe in 10yrs time they'll knock down the RM stand and start again.

As someone’s previously said, some clubs travel well away and some don't. Admittedly the standard of ground probably sways some fans but I can honestly say if I want to watch my team I couldn’t really care less if they’re at the Jungle/Odsal or DW/KC.

I appreciate some of the superleague grounds do need improvements though and HKR seem to be slowly but surely getting there, would be a tad boring if every team had a Haliwell Jones in different colours though.

I would like to hope they have the foresight to have the strengh in the new north stand secion that goes around the corner so as to make it possible for us to just remove the super structure when houses the seats in the RM stand and replace it with one that is full length.
