If Leeds were to release a new home jersey this year but it was for 2 years and kept last years away shirt for this year, I would be happy despite the obvious lack of income for the club.

So would I. But Leeds are in a slightly different position to London, they need every penny. The fact this range has been released only after Xmas suggests to me anyway that they've dropped a ball. Most clubs are (or should be) savvy enough to have their merchandise and home shirt out before Xmas.
I just don't see a downside to changing the shirt each year and it has the upside of selling more.
I'm a big supporter of London, I just wish they'd get their bloody act together.

No doubt once our Cricketing CEO has located a Cricket stadium in deepest darkest Kent for the team to play out of next year, they will roll out a new shirt, manufactured by a cricket wear manufacturer that is apparently not very good quality, with a new badge and the same total lack of business accument that the club are renowned for!
September 8th the Broncos season ended last year.....4 months to get any kind of stock in the shop We have less than 1,000 ST holders, but even if all of them only spent 40notes at Xmas, that represents more than the gate receipts from a home game in 2012

Sorry, but that is woeful. I like the idea of London being in the league and producing talent but how long can they be allowed in the top division on the back of "it's good for the game to have a team in London"?

890 I believe was the figure last year.....as for being alowed in the top division, we don't cost the other 13 teams a brass farthing and are currently debt free....oh, we've never finished bottom either, so I reckon are entitled to be in the top division...it's just that we have crowds and a management who have no idea how to change that.

Franchising isn't just based on attendances though.
London do need to try harder with attendances IMO but not be just kicked out because of it.

(i know they've tried Championship)

Although I agree with you that a franchise shouldnt be based on attendances.
London's crowd numbers are pathetic and are not worthy of a top flight team in any "major" sport.
There were rumours of give away tickets last season and they have to do more to encourage fans to attend.

Whilst you have a benefactor who is paying the clubs ways then there is no problem short term.
It depends on who is saying its good to have London- if its Sky then its critical if its you it doesnt matter

No they shouldn't. The work they have been doing in spreading the word in London, along with the Skolars and community coaches, is of greater value to the sport as a whole as well as in London than the size of their crowds. They are located in a city comprising over 6 million people with probably about as many sports competing for their income. And that isn't taking into consideration the geography of the city and the massive amount of time it can take a person just to travel from one side to the other.
At least London aren't ripping off their supporters by rehashing the same kit year in, year out and expecting people to fork out forty quid every time, regardless of how good Saints' away kit looks this time around (I'm tempted for the first time ever to actually buy the away kit).
I'd say it would be likely to cost London more to redesign and produce a shirt for a small band of followers than keeping the same kit for two consecutive years.

What do you base this sweeping judgement on?
London's average of 2,808 last year was the lowest ever in the history of the club in SL and it is very worrying that year on year they have dropped a total of 43% since we rerturned to the stoop in 2006. This average gives the club an (approximate) income of a million quid in ticket and residual revenues. Then they receive 1.3 million from SKY and the owner throws in another 1.5 million, so they turn over 3.8 million a year and owe nobody other than the owner any money. No overdraft, no bank loans, no anything...they are 100% debt free. Londons crowds are a concern.....but only for London themselves and the RFL......as I have said, our home attendances do not cost any of the other clubs a brass farthing and if we're honest, are none of your ing business.
Since 2006, great strides have been made with the development of the game in London by the club, bankrolled not by the RFL, but by the club. Our community officers...sorry, award winning community officers have visited schools across the south east and promoted the game. Participation numbers are continuing to grow......in case you missed it, Howard of Effingham School from Surrey are the National Schools Champions having defeated Castleford Academy at Wembley, the London Skolars have started to become more competative now they are picking up some of the Harlequins RL/London Broncos academy players, London trained players are starting to be picked up across ESL ....and the club have never finished in a relegation position.
Your opinion that "someone else" should be given a chance carries little if any factual weight....it is little more than a flatcappers opinion. Your whippet needs feeding.

Wigan, any other Super League club and the RFL can send ''community officers'' in to London schools to introduce and create a Rugby League strategy. The above drivel you posted is a desperate attempt to try and justify the Broncos presence in Super League.

Its pathetic to try and typical of a certain section of RL fans to try and downplay any success we see and over play any failings.

I think you're mistaking Drivel for factual evidence.....this is often the case with misinformed northerners who dislike change or expansion of "their" game
As for justifying Londons presence in SL, they need no justification as they have never finished in a relegation position. Nor did they ever breach the cap to avoid relagation like others have done.

Sorry, but London Broncos only exist in Super League to deliver the message.
It's only a matter of time before the strategy is reflected upon and that the message can be delivered without Super League having to contain a Super League club that people generally have no interest in.

Really? What message is that then?
AFAIK, Sky and the RFL agreed on the composition of the original SL and that it should include a French and Southern team. I suspect this was a mutually agreed tactic, but can only offer my opinion. You state your opinion like it is fact...it isn't!
Quote ="ABP'"It's only a matter of time before the strategy is reflected upon and that the message can be delivered without Super League having to contain a Super League club that people generally have no interest in.'"
See...that's your OPINION. The facts are a different matter.....
Fact: In 17 seasons, London has never finished in a relegation position and therefore, they are worthy of their place in the comp.
Fact: London Broncos home attendances have no influence on the revenues of the other 13 SL teams.
Fact: Londons Home attendance average for 2012 is not the worst in the History of Superleague.
Are you perchance related to Jeremy Clarckson? He too mistakes his opinion for fact a lot of the time!

Actually, they really couldn't. They wouldn't have a clue where to begin. London is nothing like Wigan. Wigan is a backwater. London is big and has exciting stuff like life going on.
PS: I'd check your facts before making yourself look like the idiot you have actually just made yourself look like.
