Can only play what is in front of you. Wire didn't need to go up a gear so why would they after 4 games in 2 weeks. If needed they would have turned the screw I'm sure. The 2 points were never in doubt.

You make it sound like Warrington deliberately stopped playing for 20 minutes. That was probably one of the worst Cas performances I’ve seen for years yet they only lost by 12 points. If Cas have somewhere near a full team they win that game. For Warrington to only score 1 more try than Cas is shocking.

Correct and even for 60 minutes they weren’t particularly impressive. Lose Clark for a long period they’d struggle massively. Have to say as well, I wasn’t impressed by Blake Austin. Comes across like a bit of a flat track bully to me.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m shocked that we aren’t blitzing the league. If we blitz the league we’ll storm the semi-finals like Saints did last year and win both trophies. Then we can gloat on forums the next season about how bad the team in 2nd place is. It’s because we won both trophies after blitzing the league you see.

Warrington are not really a club associated with "blitzing the league" though, that honour goes to Castleford, Leeds and St Helens blitzing the league by a margin of 10, 9 and 8 points respectively. Warrington have won the league twice by the narrowest margin of....1 point.
