While not perfect it is improving [ as Roverswall points out , with actual money being spent by the club and wll eventually be a good stadium for watching RL

HKR have done extremely well given their short occupancy of SL , and to their credit you have a Rovers fan on this thread saying they would still be happy for a return of P and R , with all the risks involved for them that would bring

They are heavily criticised for the current lack of junior development , but that will come , the priority at the moment is to be competitive and become self sustaining , I then expect them to become a real force within the game , and they will see some silverware inside the next 10 years , of that I have no doubt , and the team that achieves that will have some home produced players

Perhaps you ought to go away and check some facts about the KC and the user agreements that govern who can and can't play there. Probably would have been better to do that before posting twaddle that makes you look like an idiot, mind.

The KC user agreement is not for general reading, some of us have had the contents of it relayed or had chance to have a little look at it. Kosh is quite correct in that the two main stadium users (City and FC ) have the right of veto on anyone else using it. KR where offered the chance to use the KC they declined so thats the end of that.

a heck of alot! Even since this picture the East stand (stand on Right) has been extended right down to the North stand and by April time will have been extended again to fill the length of the pitch. You can see how the pitch width has been extended to bring the sidelines much closer to the stands. The Stand directly in middle of this pic will be moved to the big space closest and the new development and stand built where the Nth stand currently sits.

Capacity will be up around 12,500 with around 5000 standing and 7500 seats. Not bad effort in less than 8 years!

What's the structure to the left, the one that looks like it has a large industrial chimney on it.

Its going to be the big enterprise office building that will wrap around the Northern end of the ground. It will be good as it will fill in the gaps between the East and West stands and the new north stand giving more protection and a more "finished off" look. I would imagine at ground level it will be the entrance turnstyles to that part of the ground.

There's been a couple of diff "artists impressions" of what it will look like.

They could have picked a better 'in play' photo for the pitch, Roby busting a Rovers tackle and we're in our away shirts!
