I used it yesterday, superb. Plenty of parking, £2.50 return, drop off right outside the ground, and then pick up in the same place, back to the park and ride and straight out onto Clive Sullivan Way.
Only gripe I had was that the last bus leaves only 20 minutes after the end of the game, so you don't have much time to congratulate the team at the end, it was straight out and a brisk walk back to get to the bus, which with my sciatica is very difficult to do at the best of times.

It is a problem for games at the K.C, I am surprised the local authorities / police haven't looked into it before.

We finally gave up trying to get off the exits near the arena part and followed some cars on a route behind the 5 a side pitches which went round the back of the east stand and came out on the main road.
Miles better that exit.

this is a good point, flogging cheap tickets has got people in who wouldnt normally go to a rugby league game or even know the rules.. so not exactly going to be cheering their heads off.
But if they come back or start to support their local club it will have worked
mexican waves going round at the England matches... is this because people are bored of watching the game on show? or actually not even interested in the game itself

Yeah... should have been full even for a dead rubber imo when you consider Ireland's crowd.. they paid for an overly conservative choice of venue.
Superb crowd at Halifax though.

| Good crowd in Halifax......although groups of empty seats again????? Are these corporate hospitality seats? Surely they could sell them as standard seats on the day?
Ireland was a mistake.......should have played it in London IMHO

The Skircoat ( oldish seated ) Stand was used for the kids and community stuff, the North stand has just had work on it and still has a reduced capacity ATM, the current safety cert capacity is 10,300 which is within 100 of tonights attendance
Just a shame they didnt switch the camera's to the other side

| The KC is a brilliant venue, having watched the game back this morning it looked superb. I was sat with a mate from Nottingham and he was impressed by the atmosphere, he also loved the warm and friendly nature of the crowd and being able to sit down with a drink.
Apologies to anyone who had to endure my singing after the game last night!

Loftus Road would have been packed out for that game. They filled it for Aus v NZ in 2004 Tri-Nations.

| 249,923 people have so far watched 20 games at this RLWC so depending on which church you worship at, gives an average of 12,496 or 14,748.
A full stadium tomorrow night will see the Group stages complete with the entire attendance of the 2000 RLWC almost overtaken having played 10 less games....well done to the host cities who in the main have done their bit and created the great buzz surrounding the RLWC 2013.
QF's up next, and other than the DW England game, I suspect Leeds and Warrington will sell well and only the Wrexham game could disappoint.
Looks like my prediction of 360k is going to be blown out of the water and I couldn't be happier...240,000 possible attendance from the 6 knock-out games.......I see no reason why Wembley won't sell out other than an England loss in Wigan and the Final is as good as sold out anyway....
..amended projection.....460,000 ......now if only they could kick on and get these people back through the gates come February!

If the figures given for sales for the semis and final are right, then 360,000 is beaten without including qf gates. The French game tomorrow should produce a 5 figure crowd and then there should be a real panic over getting qf tickets. regular updates from the organisers should help push up sales.

They might, dependant on their location.
But the most important thing is that RL raises it's profile as a result and increases participation across the board. Getting more people interested in playing is imperative.

| Many people thought the Olympics and Paralympics were a waste of time and money, slating it before it began. Just a further example of unfounded scepticism by the general (...ly clueless) public where the old adage about opinions and bum holes couldn't be more apparent.
Well done to the team involved, competitors, host towns and cities and of course the hundreds of thousands of supporters.
