| Op is wrong.
Title should be ex England full back
He would have been nowhere near the England squad on form

| If Zachary Hardaker thinks that he will be a regular in the Canberra Raiders team he is sadly mistaken. Canberra already have a gun full back named Jack Wighton, and two ace centres in Basil Joseph "Joey" Leilua and Jason Croker. There is simply no place for Zachary Hardaker unless one of the above is injured.
Mr Hardaker would have been better off trying his luck with the London Broncos.

Possibly, if England had actually played any games since last year.

| Here are the current NRL fullbacks:
1. Brisbane: Darius Boyd
2. North Queensland: Lachlan Coote
3. Gold Coast: William Zillman
4. Newcastle: Dane Gagai
5. Manly: Brett Stewart
6. Sydney: Latrell Mitchell
7. South Sydney: Greg Inglis/Cody Walker
8. St George: Joshua Dugan/Adam Quinlan/Kurt Mann
9. Cronulla: Benjamin Barba
10. Canterbury: William Hopoate/Sam Perrett
11. Parramatta: Michael Gordon
12. Wests Tigers: James Tedesco
13. Penrith: Matthew Moylan
14. Canberra: Jack Wighton
15. Melbourne: William Slater/Cameron Munster
16. New Zealand: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck/Tuimoala Lolohea
Parramatta and South Sydney may have full back issues, but both have serious salary cap problems which would preclude them buying Zachary Hardaker. Canberra have the gun Jack WIghton.
The only NRL club that might possibly want Zachary Hardaker is wooden spoon candidate Newcastle Knights, who could move Dane Gagai over to his best position of centre.

Barba has been very good this year and Manly have Tom Trbojevic who'll be Manlys FB for years to come after Stewart retires

I agree.
I think that it is Newcastle or nobody who will want Hardaker.

| Apart from the Knights maybe Titans as well? Zillman stands out as the most bang average from that list. Either way he's probably going to end up in a struggling team nearer the bottom than the top if he goes over there. Could be the making or breaking of him being tested like that, he's not gone too well in a struggling Leeds team this year has he so it would be interesting.

Titans are serious contenders for top 8 spot. They have bought the London bred, Wigan experienced Daniel Sarginson for next year, as well as Konrad Hurrell, so that they have optiions (with Sarginson) at full back.

| There are better full backs in the Queensland cup. As if someone would pay £300k for him. Unless some landlord wanted some students evicted then they might do

| I cant believe any Nrl club would pay much for Hardaker, surely no one would be willing to pay anywhere near the 300K asking price. Tomkins was ripping teams apart before he went to the NRL and was pretty average over there. I dont rate Hardaker in the same class as Tomkins before his move.

| What is the point of putting him on the transfer list at that price, they want rid, so might as well put a realistic price, they will be lucky to get half that, doubt NRL will pay anywhere near that fur someone with a poor rep off the field and poor form on it. Reckon only Salford would pay a big transfer for him and I don't think he would leave Leeds fur them.

He probably has a better physique to cope in the NRL than Tomkins does to be fair, and he is a very good player. I thought Tomkins was pretty good in his first season there as well before injuries disrupted his second year.

| The fee is just a bit of nonsense. I doubt Leeds expect to get much if anything, but it probably signals that they won't release him to another Sl club.

| I'd also add that unless Hardaker learns to pass properly he'll never be more than an average NRL full back. He'd do OK to start with because he's good defensively and a strong runner, but once opponents work out he rarely passes he'll become anonymous IMO.

He doesn't have too many weaknesses (when playing well), but that's by far the biggest.
Teams know that the chances of him chiming into the line & passing are so slim, combined with knowing that he'll probably get passed the ball most plays due to his willingness to get involved, which makes him quite easy to pick out and wrap up. He is a big strong runner, so will get the tackle busts, but number up and he's nullified.
He's still young, so plenty of time to add that to his game.

| Aku Uate from Newcastle Knights is fully fit and has been stood down for this week.
Rumours are he is about to join an ESL club before June 30.
Wouldn't surprize me if it's a straight swap.
