It's looking promising for you this year, and to be fair you're playing some quality Rugby. If you can get through the season and avoid the dreaded 'slump' it will be a massive step forward for you as a club, and should get the public of Huddersfield coming back in droves. Well, you cant rock up at Warrington in the quarters of the cup and put in such an inept performance for the first twenty minutes against a side you know will try and blow you a way in that period.

I think it was a stat on Sky that said Wire are the most dangerous team in the first 20 minutes of the game, that was definitely the case today.

Wigan and Wire and two teams who like to blow the opposition off the park in the first twenty, its been the way the last few years and as a side wanting to take these teams out you have to expect this and get the basics right, complete sets and make tackles during this period as an absolute must.The Giants failed on all three fronts,and got spanked.

Shocking performance today, Wire where good I'll give them that. But some very poor play and silly unforced errors from Hudds today.

It was always a dangerous thread this from a Huddersfield point of view.

They need to win some big games before trying to shift the spotlight.

Huddersfield were battered in the forwards today, Broughy didn’t have a chance to get into the game.

I wonder how they will go next weekend after such a poor performance today?

They do play well in the odd knockout game do hudds, 2009 CC semi and the 2010 playoff peformances were very good.

I thought Cudjoe was a bit anonymous too, for similar reasons.

Bending over for their masters,Warrington in the big games must be getting quite tiresome for the Hudds. supporters.

Bar the playoff game in 2010 they seem to get well beaten, again, and again.....and again. Still they don';t seem to mind, they just bend over every time.

I reckon if Lunt is injury is a medium-long term one thats Hudds season over. Seems such an important player for you guys this year & from what I've seen has been in fantastic form, apart from yesterday obviously.

As we all know when Leeds' forwards lose the battle, which then eliminates your halves, Sinfield is slated as the worst person ever to have laced a pair of boots.

warrington were excellent yesterday, they would have blown any team off the park, albeit helped by some iffy decisions, but cant use that as an excuse, we weren't at the races at all yesterday and got what we deserved.

hopefully we will bounce back and carry on our good form, we have a relatively easy run in on paper with fielden and chan to come back but we have to start showing up in these big knockout games.

I couldn't decide if Warrington were just unplayable or Hudds didn't show up. The visitors certainly coughed up too much ball and missed too many tackles, which they surely knew they would be punished for by a fired up Wire?

I thought you got the rough end of the stick with a few "knock on" calls in the 1st half.
Warrington were all over the ball in the tackle, whether this is deemed as a loose carry or interference is all a matter of opinion, but you got stuffed on every call, which on a blistering hot day takes it's toll.
Wire were excellent with ball in hand though and they will take some beating on that form !

probably a bit of both, we gave them an easy foothold early on with our errors and they blew us away after that.

that is true, I haven't watched a replay yet but at the game on the big screen it certainly seemed as we got done for 2/3 which were reefed, plus a couple of other dodgy ones, but you still have to defend your line and we came up short far too many times.
