As I said on the Rovers board though, not your fault, you have to play with what you are given and fair play to Rovers for never giving up.

Although still disappointed this morning, there are loads of positive at the Hull club at the moment,

Very disappointed with how we stopped concentrating after the Turner try. Immediately losing the ball from kick off and conceding a try, although we were incredibly unlucky with Martin getting injured and Ganson not stopping the game, leaving us a man short. All went down hill from there.

The forward pass was shocking. He was being tackled, so momentum couldn't even come into play. No question about it, it should have been pulled, it was that clear.

The last try was pathetic defence. In fact there were a number of tries that we're touch and pass like.

Personally, after the early sin binning of Dobson (correct call), it felt like Ganson was on a mission to even things up. The penalty count was completely one-sided and the only ones we seemed to get we're for high tackles (from Dobson on more than one occasion). I couldn't believe we got pinged for offside so much and Rovers not even once in the second half. Was that because we were winning or what?

Would we have won had Ganson spotted the forward pass? Without a doubt. There wouldn't have been time for Rovers. But he didn't, and we can't use his poor performance as an excuse, only a reason. The biggest reason we lost was complacency.

Consolation? If Leeds lose, they're ninth! If they draw, Rovers are back out the top eight so yesterday means nothing for now! Basically my enjoyment of this weekend rides on a Bradford win!

I really thought Hull FC were robbed, no question the second to last try was off a forward pass. However Hull KR got themselves into a great attacking position and got to give them some credit for that. All in all, I thought it was a cracking derby.

If Hodgson had faced any kind of defence he wouldn't have scored.

I can't stand these type of comments. I suppose you've only ever passed judgement on the performance of people who do exactly the same job as you? No, thought not, that would be ridiculous. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on the performance of referees regardless of whether they themselves are a referee. It was a contentious decision (to put it lightly) and people ARE going to talk about it.

The Hodgson score should have been a consolation try only.

The forward pass try could have been the consolation if Hull could tackle Hodgson 60 metres out.

they guy who did our game, George Stokes, was excellent, kept the game flowing and kept his whistle in his pocket. He should get more appointments.

If Hull were robbed, they left their front door open and a comprehensive list of all their valuables on the coffee table.

As the coach said, you have to be good enough to defend a 14 point lead; they weren't.

as a hull fan, the team was to blame for the loss, ganson and his linesman cost us a try, if it was correctly ruled out would the game have panned out differently, hodgson may not have even scored, we don't know, what we do know was fc were guilty of throwing a 14 point lead away to an average team! we are just slightly above average! (but not yesterday)

After seeing what we do to refs who don't give us decisions he decided it was best for his health to award the try!

Bad decision yesterday, shocking decision today too.

It wasn't just the forward pass though,we get pinged 6-0 in the penalty count in the 2nd half,I've watch the recording back a couple of times now and Rovers discipline/infringements are no different to ours,we get an even share of ball we win at a canter,just shows how much influence these refs have in deciding who gets the two competition points.
