SE2.....that's south of the stream and any further east it would be in Kent.......the description says "freehold", although it looks very much lile ex-council.
Bracondale Road, Abbey Wood, London, SE2...google it and then hit streetview....makes Brentford look like Mayfair
Given Leeds and London were being compared,
cheapest TW2 4 Bedroom house was 299,950

Cheapest LS6 4 beds is 60k....

Now......where's the RFL bailing out the Bulls thread......

| London weighting was mainly for public sector workers, civil servants/NHS techers etc. It also applied to the home counties areas situated outside of the M25. Salaries in London are much higher than anywhere else and even this is often not enough with more poverty in London than anywhere else.
That some people can't get their heads around the fact that a professional sportspersons salary might be 20+% greater than his equivalent counterpart in an area relatively far cheaper to live in is quite bemusing!

....London Broncos v.2 will be spanding about 1.375 million on wages, +20% extra for London weighting, which means they are at the cap, but only getting about 81% of the value that Northern Teams are getting...........another disadvantage that we rarely complain about but would be justified to.

| You would get laughed at as there are stacks who come on here who have never left there pit village. When you are dealing with that type you end up arguing about the price of a fairy cake at the annual school fete.
London is in another stratosphere to some
If its not pit village v pit village on a muddy pitch it isnt rugby League

| It seems Craig Gower is as deluded as some people on this forum
Quote London Broncos back Craig Gower is targeting Super League supremacy on his return to rugby league.
The 33-year-old has switched codes after three years playing rugby union for Bayonne and Italy and he has immediately targeted leading the newly-rebranded Broncos to the top of the table.

See, without those 'pit villages' and muddy fields, you johnny come lately's wouldn't have any rugby league to pretend to be interested in.
I'm with Alan Partridge on this one - "Go to London! I guarantee you'll either be mugged or not appreciated. Catch the train to London, stopping at Rejection, Disappointment, Backstabbing Central and Shattered Dreams Parkway."

According to the 'joke', surely you'd stop at these places before you get to London?

Nine of the 2012 Broncos squad are Souther born and bred. This doesn't include Louis McCarthy-Scaresbrook or Darryl Griffin, also SL players, or Mike Coady or any of the Skolars players, or the Academy players.
Not a bad return for a 'failing' club... Just imagine how much more top talent we'd have at our disposal if they were 'successful'. The RFL development plans in London, with thousands invested by Sport England and sponsors like Hard Rock cafe, won't start producing senior players for a good few years yet...

I expect the number to rise quite rapidly in the next franchise period and this can only be good for London and rugby League in general.
