Despite only having 14 players available due to injuries and illness St Helens academy made the daunting trip up to the north east and demolished the impressive Newcastle thunder academy 110-4. Given the Caliber of players coming through at St Helens, they will dominate for years to come. The rest of the league must be so scared

One of the main priorities for IMG is ripping up the current disciplinary process and replacing it. Sacking and never working with those involved again is essential.

It is clear to see that the rfl are scared of St Helens winning 5 on the trot. Even the most bitter Wigan fan cannot say with a straight face that St Helens are being treated the same way.

There is no conspiracy. They play the game as aggressive as possible and right on the brink of the rules. This season they're getting it totally wrong (they did a few times last season too) and need to change their style otherwise the sin bins and bans will keep coming.

Interestingly, Wigan are a team of thugs and yet nobody has the wrap sheet that Knowles and indeed Matty Lees have. There's a good chance they beat the whole Wigan team on their own in terms of appearances in front of the MRP.

Talking of bans, it'll be interesting to see what they give the Halifax player for the awful late hit on Lomax. Worse than any of the Saints bans for late hits, very high and required a HIA because the Doctor thought it was a bad one.
