I wont go on to much on here as I will use a page plus but needless to say I shall be writing in to the big wigs at the K.C.

5 million will just pay for the qualifying tournaments we need for the next world cup - and that's if we basically give the top 12 or so automatic qualification.
I wouldn't mind seeing a mini WC type qualification tournament involving South Africa, Lebanon, Russia, Canada, Jamacia, Serbia, Vanuatu, Malta, Greece, Germany etc etc.
Getting all them together in one spot would cost more than 5 mill.
The only way we could do it would be to make South Africa put it on and pay for it as part of putting on the World Cup.

No of course not! 25,100 tickets sold, (the second largest attendance of the world cup) excellent display by the red devils parachuting onto the pitch! Good atmosphere
The players loved playing in front of that crowd
@Ryan5Hall: It's an absolute pleasure playing infront of supporters like you all tonight. Lets have the same again next week at Wigan. #rlwc2013
@tanyaarnold: The crowd at Hull today was fantastic. Their own tribute to Steve Prescott was very moving and their support for the teams terrific.
Shut up loser, I will be sending the 'big wigs' an email telling how good of a show they put on!

| I don't get the issue with the Hull game either. But it is only the 8th post by onemanteam, and 3 of them are the same one.
On TV the noise did seem to be lacking, but I put that down to one of two things. The shocking news for most fans prior to the match, or the Beeb had the crowd noise down again.
The atmosphere picked up 2nd half. The first half was a bit of a tacklathone.

This. I was in a pub in Hull pre-match and very few people knew about the news of the death of Steve Prescott. It was the same in the ground. I spoke to people around me and none of them knew, so the announcement over the tannoy came as a bit of a shock to a big proportion of the crowd.
The atmosphere was tense and really picked up after the Westwood try. The ridiculous Mexican Wave actually killed the atmosphere and may well have been a distraction to the players.
Writing to the Hull Club to complain about a big day where nothing went wrong is ridiculous.

| I thought it was an excellent day at Hull yesterday. The atmosphere was pretty good after a slow start and the exceptionally sad news about Steve Prescott played its part in that.
I love the KC stadium. The only gripe I can have about it is the car park. It took us an hour and 20 minutes to get off after the game. Other then that though it's a great facility and we had a top day.

Fewer ( by a big margin ) away fans is one big reason - nobody to sing 'against'. But also, against teams like Fiji, there's a fair amount of affection for the opposition. For example, if we were absolutely smashing Samoa, say, the crowd wouldn't be delerious, but many in fact would be quietly hoping for Samoa to get a few scores. Against the Aussies, it would be different again. If ( lol ) we went 30 points up, the crowd would blow the roof off the stand, whereas when it's tight against the Aussies, the tension can make the crowd quiet. Just the way it is, I don't think there's a lack of passion for internationals - the crowds are good.

| To be fair the crowd will be a little flatter with one set of fans there. England v Fiji is never going to have the same atmosphere at the kc as hull v hull KR is it?
But I bet there was a hell of a lot more kids and schools there yesterday.
The England-Australia game was a great atmosphere as was the Scotland-USA and NZ-PNG from the games I've been at. Cook Islands v tonga was electric.

| I went to the England game at Huddersfield and the atmosphere seemed pretty decent. As did the 2nd half yesterday.
It's always a bit trickier for RL internationals as people have to put club loyalty to oneside. There is the away fans issue. But like was said earlier that score against NZ or Oz and the place would be rocking. Against lesser sides we are hoping it does not become embarrasing.
Watching the match back it was a great intense game in the first half it just needed an earlier score to set the crowd going.

the car park is a joke I agree, all it would take is a small amount of planning, such as stewards making the road one way on exit, or the Police manually controlling the traffic lights and the traffic would clear much easier. But 11 years on they still haven't sorted this out!
as for the atmosphere, I didn't think it was too bad, the bad news before kick-off didn't help, as many still hadn't heard the sad news. Also the game was strange in that it was tense in the first half, followed by a walkover in the 2nd, which never leads to a good atmosphere.
Obviously I'm biased, but I think the fact that every international at the KC has attracted over 20K means we deserve a fixture in every Test or 4 Nations series.

| I can't help but think the great tickets sales are down to us all knowing the fixtures a good 12/18 months in advance. Usually we only know about 2 months before with most tournaments.
I hope fixtures and schedule are sorted for next years Four Nations asap.

| The games seem to have attracted a different demographic than your average club game. That's meant a different atmosphere. In some ways I've preferred it. There's more positivity, less foul language, fewer boozed up idiots, people are there to have fun.
More of the same please.

I'd agree with that, though I think the next 4 Nations is down under?
I do however think we should be bolder with the venue choices for the next 4 Nations, the big grounds make the games seem more of an event and we sell more as a result.

Think for an Australia test we should look at Elland Rd or the COMS like we did in 04 or 05. Stick to a Wigan/Hudds/Hull for the Kiwis then a Warrington/Widnes for the other nation. The final will be the other of Elland Rd/COMS.

I've been stuck on there a few times. Yesterday we managed to find a side street about 10 mins walk from the ground. We had absolutely no problem getting out.

We're getting off topic but NZ-Aus should be in London in my opinion - Would be a way of spreading the geographical spread without losing much in the way of attendance.

| Your right about next years Four Nations being down under. 2015 is free but a GB tour is hoped with a long awaited Ashes series, but if not, let's just play the Aussies once and play NZ in a series. If even that is not possible, then poss Aussies once, Kiwis once, PNG and Fiji. That would still be a great tour and you can imagine PNG and Fiji being really tough if played in their home countries.
That would be something completely different for the players to look forward to.
2016 is a home Four Nations, then 2017 is a SH World Cup.
So really, looking at that, we are only at home for one comp in next 4 years.
