Tonight already there have been two:
One when Phil was talking about Wigan being like a Formula 1 car whose team haven’t got everything right in the car yet, Brian said; “where do you get these analogies from?”
And a second when Phil predicted that Leeds would win tonight and Brian said; “everyone will want to stand next to you when you next visit Headingly... or maybe not”

If you think Sky is bad, well I had the misfortune of having to listen to BBC online on a trip back up the M5 and M6.

It got to point where I was waiting for them to make the next blunder which was entertaining in a perverse kind of way

Blunders aside, Angela's post match interviews are an absolute atrocity too. She asks the most long winded questions, that could have been asked in about 5 words, and also has a habit of asking the question, answering it herself and then asking the same question again - and it's usually a pretty pointless and bland question that is obviously going to lead to a cliche answer and gives the viewer nothing. Something like;
'That looked like a really tough match, a battle of the forwards, how do you assess the performance on your forwards, you must be really pleased with their effort, their defence was terrific and they certainly set a platform for you in attack, so how do you assess their performance?'
To which the player will awkwardly answer 'Yeah, it was a really tough game, credit to all our lads, our forwards were great, really set a platform for us.'
It's cringeworthy stuff - it's like she's telling them how they need to answer the question and just doesn't give the viewer any insight or better understanding of what they be just seen.

I generally don't bother watching whatever is being served by Sky at the half time break.

Eddie Hemmings should be on there, brings up the most stupid comments.

Edward Hemmings is a game caller, not a commentator.

But in any case I like listening to Edward, and seeing him on the rare occasions that his face is shown, because he is a distinguished looking man with a good head of hair.
