I don't see it as a 50/50 split. Not at all. And youth development has been sacrificed before. It might be cost effective in the long run, but club chairman are notoriously fickle when it comes to anything other than the here and now.

His performances in the past 2 seasons clearly illustrate he is a quality player who will do well in the NRL. I wonder if you actually watch the NRL as you seem to have a rather odd opinion of Graham's likely performances in the competition. You also have to remember he will be a member of a tough Bulldogs pack which will offer him decent support.

I really hate these 'opinions.' The media throw these around so much. Do you really think sacking the coach, trying to find a decent replacement will help the club? NQ to their credit have given an under performing coach long enough to try and turn their fortunes around. If clubs listened to the media coaches wouldn't last more than half a season.
