Can't see anything other than a comfortable Leeds win unfortunately, I would love to be wrong though.

I see it as a win-win situation for Leeds.
An easy Leeds win = a professional performance by Leeds
A close Leeds win = a plucky performance by Leigh
A Leigh win = Leeds doing their bit for the good of the game.

Depends on your definition of appalling.

For a Leeds home game it'll be appalling, for a SL vs Championship side it'll probably be considered pretty good.

No one's to blame. It's SL vs lower league, what do you expect - a full house?
I'm sure Leeds vs the likes of Blackpool or Doncaster in the 80s was much worse.

Leigh have been shipping points against mediocre opposition, I think Leeds will declare after an hour and Leigh will get a couple of consolation tries.

Leigh have been going great, but Leeds at Headingley is a whole different game, and as a rule Leeds don't tend to switch off against lesser teams. Stay within 30 or 40 and they've had a decent night.

As odd as it may seem, Keighley only put out a second string team as the league is far too important this year.

I remember Doncaster turning Saints over not so long ago.
Hull KR were top of the Championship when they knocked Wire around a 1/4 final stage.
Castleford had been knocked out by a couple of Championship teams more recently.

Let's be honest, it's a huge ask to just get within 30 points of them. I'm sure the lads will give a good account of themselves and the fans will do likewise. Can't ask for any more than that.

Well, we've got a score or 2 in the first half. But can we keep them under 40 in the second...I think we will run out of steam in the last 20 minutes.

An enthralling first half, Leigh deservedly level at half time. Regardless of how it goes in the 2nd half they have been very exciting to watch. A credit to the game in fact. More of this in SL next year please!

This may penis up a few predictors, keep it up Leigh hope they don't fall off in the last ten and Leeds rack up the points as they really don't deserve that for the effort and enthusiasm they have shown so far.

I'll be amazed if Leeds don't score a bagful in the second half. McDermott will be going mad in the dressing room. As will JP. And Leigh's fitness levels will start to show.

Fully expect Leeds to pull away in the second half, but this is a great dig by Leigh.
