Can't remember that one but Gareth Handford once got over the try line at Hilton Park but stepped over the dead ball line while trying to mock your players before putting the ball down. IIRC the game was quite close at the time too.

| Gus Gould nicking Laurie Daley's chair during an Origin game. Should be easy to find. Likewise Lance Thompson running onto a tap 20 from Nathan Brown in 2000.
But the winner has to be the David Ferriol video that someone posted earlier. That is absolutely hilarious!

| My mate tells a good story about watching a Runcorn Highfield game at Canal st, Runcorn.
In the days before kicking tees, Runcorn were taking another pasting when a wag from the crowd shouts to the then Runcorn coach (Geoff Fletcher), " come on Fletch, were running out of effing sand".

| Kevin Penny was playing in one of the last games of last season IIRC and being enthusiastic as he is, he ran to the ball after it went dead, jumped to tap the ball and dropped it...
Also, although I've only seen the videos on youtube, Warrington vs Wigan 1 January 1988, Paul Cullen flat out on the floor and then as the Wigan player who had tackled him walked past, Cullen jumps up and starts a fight

That happens at least annually. Always funny.
I don't know about the funniest ever, but a few things come to mind that i've found really funny.
Michael Weyman linebreaks.
Michael Crocker getting KO'd by the ball in Origin '08.
Jason Ryles crawling outside the sideline in Origin '03 because he couldn't walk. Turns out he couldn't crawl either as his arm gives away beneath him and he clumps to the ground.
Feleti Mateo passing the ball to himself vs. Souths this year.
Jamie Soward tackling Greg Inglis.

The funniest thing in that is the commentator saying that Kevin Penny would have got him.
Saw Mark Preston do the playing the ball the wrong way thing.
Michael Jackson getting done for offside when we had the ball over at Saints to hand Saints a draw on a plate. Noone ever gets done for offside with the ball.
Salford player, i forget his name jumping in to the crowd at Thrum Hall to confront fans heckling him.
James Child.

| Marcus Bai at Cardiff '05 - out the backdoor offload over the line to gift Hull a try.
Mason getting whammo'd by Kidwell after bad mouthing the Haka being the "big man" he is.
The look of confusion on Brian Carneys face after charging down a conversion and being penalised, "What do you mean its a penalty?". Cant remember the game, was about 4-5 years ago?

| First that comes to mind is Wire v Harlequins Round 1. Myler about 30 metres out going to score and Thiery Alibert runs right in front of him. Was a great try saver. Good job we was about 30-0 up at the time.

| There's a couple that spring to mind. First up Sean Long being selected on the wing by Andy Goodway whilst Tony Smith played scrum half. Second is Chris Ashton going the length of the field the other week.

Was that funny? Or just embarrasingly awkward to watch? If the latter was an award (and it now is, in his name, within certain circles), Carige would be the standard that could never be equalled.

How about Richard Horne playing for GB on the wing? I saw that Ashton try on every news programme I watched, was it anything special at all? All I saw was some poor tackling and then an ex athlete awkwardly trying to run. Then he did that daft dive thing that union players feel they have to when they score a try.
