I was gonna say the same. They also built a stand with a roof and turfed away supporters to the side where’s there’s no roof... typical Yarkshire thing to do. (yes I’m aware away supporters can stand under the roof too)

They actually can`t stand under that roof as the north stand is generally home fans only for most games... However there is a small area down the western terrace which also has a roof over it.

And you've got your own private bar selling Yarkshires finest ale.

I can vouch for that. The beer's been great at Belle Vue for the last couple of seasons. Any real ale aficionado's need to give it a try. Best trying in the main bar.

I was quite shocked with the attitude of the Wakefield club about calling the stand a home fans only stand. Not very a RL type of thing.

The side view and terracing is shocking at BV even when its dry

Oh I don't know, when the action is right in front of you there's nothing better, admitted when it's at the other end it's hopeless.

As for the terracing, that's fairly new!

With Leigh's dwindling "army" of away fans, there should still be plenty of decent spots down the Western Terrace.

Coming from the biggest union troll on rlfans that’s laughable. Which part of my post was trolling? There is s reason why wakefield are hardly on sky. It’s because they embarrass our great game. It’s like watching a game on the local council pitch every time they are on sky (which THANKFULLY isn’t often)

I think you meant "elicit" which is a verb. "Illicit" is a noun with a completely different meaning. Law abiding forum members are never doing anything illicit.

Now does anyone know when the announcement comes re the expansion to 14 and specifically which will be the lucky teams? And when will we know if P & R still applies or not in 2018?

That should really be announced BEFORE the 2018 season starts, but apparently is not going to be, as the SL clubs couldn't agree on it! There can't be many (any?) other sports where the competing teams do not know what they are competing for, when the season starts!
