Don’t know about anyone else but I’m feeling a lot more confident about automatic after the last 3 games. A goal difference of +13 is phenomenal over that run of games. We were pretty solid throughout the team there, despite not having our usual dominance on possession. The thing that pleases me most is that we’re playing with a real unselfish attitude, mostly making the right decisions based on the benefit of the team. Bring on the Mackems. Only poser is does Rothwell come back in for the home game instead of Gruev ?

We are going up. But I am absolutely dreading it in the PL. I don't think we have the structure to stay up. We certainly do not have the players. Hopefully we spend decent money (do we even have it available?) on some rea quality who can keep us in the PL for the first season and we can build from there. Though I am absolutely dreading it.

we will be the 6th richest owners in the league. how have forest done this year? survive 2 years and unless you implode, as we did when bielsa refused to buy players, you'll be fine. plus even if the worst happened you've got another 3 years of parachute payments. I think we'll be ok. wont be easy be get the right players in, and the recruitment depth is pretty good these days, well have enough

That Checkvertazde is a good player, i'd have liked us to bring him in as an option at 10. Some fabulous goals. They could lay a glove on Tanaka in midfield, i just can't beleive how little we paid for him, we had Dusseldorf's pants down. Gruev covered a lot of distance and helped control their midfield. I think you will see Rothwell in most home games though, depending on who we play. If they are likely to sit deep and defend for 90 mins he deffo plays, if they will come and have a go, Gruev goes in there.

As Tad says, we're the 6 wealthiest club in England with the 9ers (now it just depends on how much of the purse strings they open or can open that will be key). FFP in it's current format caught out Forrest but they snook through it and now are very well established). I think we will have enough ££ firepower to stay up and our home form will be key, Elland Rd will be on fire. I'm confident we can get up automatic now and i think the players are too, but, big next 3 games coming up. If we come out of those in good shape we're as good as up. I'd say 7 more wins gets us at least 2nd place. That win also last night really sends a message out to Sheff U and Burnley that we are going to take some stopping, it will have knocked them both.

Another dominant performance and a win in London too! Look a cut above Watford who we were breaking on at will last night, they just didn't have any answer to our counterattacking, could've had 8/9 last night. Some great last min defending and some great shot stopping by Meslier to keep them out. Tough little run of games coming up but we must be sky high confidence wise after our ongoing run (Cup aside)

Away at the min so missed the game, seen the goals tho, 2nd and 4th goals were beauty’s!

Perfect away performance with quick counterattacks after absorbing greater watford possession of the ball which is unusual for us. Farke playing Gruev for Rothwell in away games key to it as he sits and covers better as a 4. Going out of the cup also means no rearranging of the WBA game so we can get three games against contenders out of the way quickly and an easier run in.

Absolute blessing losing that cup game and Farke and the players know it. The League is 1000000000% their focus. They don't want to make the same mistakes as last year. Great point about the WBA game, that's one we certainly didnt want to re arrange.

and burnley do need to rearrange one.....

Watched the Sheff Utd game last night and I’ve got to say they played some lovely stuff up top. Thought Boro looked absolutely clueless at times, and the gulf in class is now showing between the real automatic contenders and the rest. If I was putting money on the top two I’d be fairly certain it would be us and Sheff Utd.

they were OK. it was more middlesbroughs appalling defending and giving the ball away constantly in stupid areas

I fancy top two being Leeds and Sheff Utd, I've a hunch that Sunderland may well win Playoffs though Burnley's defence could be quite potent in those games. Interesting to see Sheff U and Burnley play each other with about 3 games to go...

Boro weren’t good, but sometimes you’ve gotta give a team credit for what they achieve in their own right rather than just saying the opposition were crap. They played some very good stuff and looked a well balanced team.

Good result today Burnley with yet another draw. Win on Monday and it will be huge

I watched them on Wednesday and they played well. We need to win tomorrow to have acquired the same number of points as them this season. I’m sure if you went over to a pub full of Sheff Utd fans and told them how poor they’d been this season they would laugh you out of the place. When the great Leeds team won the title in 1969 they had more points than they had goals scored, and it was only two points for a win back then. Our current team has scored as many goals as the ‘69 lads won the title with already (66), but that doesn’t make them a better team. At the end of the day it’s about winning games and accumulating points which Sheff Utd have done at a great rate after 33 matches.

my neighbours a season ticket holder. he tells me. and so do 2 of my workmates who go. and they don't laugh. they were garbage v Portsmouth, ok Wednesday and poor again yesterday. and I never said they been poor all season. I said they've scraped a lot of 1 goal wins when they havnt played well.dont make things up

Sheff Utd have won 7 out of their last 8 games and that kind of form will invariably take them up. Ideally your description of their “poor” form (3 wins out of the 3 games you mention) will lead to a terrible run of future matches in which they drop lots of points and hand the title to us. Football doesn’t work like that, and Wilder won’t give a s### about people saying how poor his team have been playing when the ultimate goal is to win matches and get over the line.
