| There are definitely one or two that are a little out. I know that Bradford at home in 2008 is incorrect on here for example as it was initially announced wrong.
It's all tinsel anyway, no biggie.

"Fickle"?. I think rugby league could do with a few more "fickle" supporters like Hull FC's.
Rovers had their best season for God knows how long, & they still couldn't break 10,000.
Credit it where it's due, the supporters of Hull (and Wigan) have really stuck by their team in recent seasons.

6 point win (with a fair few controversial decisions in it) is hardly a tonking. But if you're that desperate to seem "that much better than us"...

It had nothing to do with Hudgell upping the prices for possibly the worse view in Super League.
I'd never go to CP anyway, not funding scum.

| lets see this year now you look like a 1.2 decent chance of winning. if you can't shift 800 tickets again then you win, if it sells out I guess I am right. Last note from me as we are way of topic.

| one stat which could be interesting this year is the percentage difference between a club's best home crowd and the worst home crowd of the season. wonder who will get the smallest difference. thought of this given wakeys 4000 odd for the salford game and the near 10000 one for their game against leeds

The smallest difference might be Quins, if you ignore the double header. Either them or Salford.

Without wishing to pi55 on your cornflakes...what do you suggest?
Move away from Harlequins and call ourselves something with London in the name? Maybe share share with a soccer team? Try to market to the ANZAC population?.....
Hang on...wasn't there once a team called london broncos that played at Griffin Park, home of Brentford FC, which was situated 1 bus journey (237) door to door from Shepherds Bush Walkabout? And didn't that team GO BUST?
I know more than most about the failings of the Club....both at TW2 and before at Griffin Park, but the solution isn't to up sticks AGAIN. I have no concrete idea what the solution is....but believe me, it's not upping sticks to ground share with QPR.........and ANZACS aren't interested in UK RL, look how many bothered to roll up to see the NRL champs. Premiership clubs won't want "egg chasers" ripping up their pitches, so where else? Back to Charlton? Back to Brentford? Come on...where would you situate them?
I still believe that if Ian Lenagan can't sell his shares, Quins will continue to struggle as the current management will not spend a worthwhile sum on marketing.

my mistake, i was looking at the crowd vs hudds which was poor
4883 is still a very poor crowd though and not good enough for a SL club in the heartlands

| I wouldn't be so downbeat about that tbh.
There's only so many you're going to get at Belle Vue, no offence but it really is a terrible ground.
So wheres all the stats and average this week JB?

Wakey will do a warrington when they get the new stadium. Loads more families will be able to go and more old people. Plenty more away fans will also be attracted. It really is the worst ground in super league and no doubt keeps alot of people away.

| The crowd was poor and BV is partially to blame but not completly. Just under 10k came to watch against Leeds and there will be a similar number for the next home match. The big games sell themselves but the perceived less attractive matches are where
Trinity come unstuck.
Personally i don't think enough is done in the run up to a match. I've said before the only evidence of a game taking place are a few trailers dotted around the city advertising the match.
This needs to change. Someone once posted on here that you have to keep selling the game to the public. Doing nothing and expecting people to turn up will only lead to one thing.
