I have not rated Sinfield in the past but he is Leeds best player. Without him Leeds have no kicking game at all. Players like Burrow are going backwards in regards to the basic halfback skills. Sinfield does the job of a 6 from loose forward.

Incredible defence. We have definitely missed Peacock and McGuire but we have given Wigan everything and they haven't broke. Like I said previously I think with McGuire in the team we would have had one or two more tries.

I'm going to have my one sour grapes post. What a joke that our reward for going to the league leaders for the season and winning is to then have to play the same team again. Throw in club call and the current 8 team playoffs are a farce and need looking at urgently in my opinion.

Fantastic performance from Wigan with a defence that held solid for the full 80 minutes with the only points conceded coming from a 50/50 call that went against them when on the attack.

Given that there's little chance of seeing my club go to a Grand Final I'm more than happy to see the arrogant $*&^( (choose your own expletive - there's too many to choose from when it comes to the Whinos) from Headingley (who spend most of the season cheating) fall at the final hurdle.

Tonight or arrogants such as Kev 'International' Sinfield would use "Grand Finalist" in his armoury.

It's going to be a very good grand final imo.

Wigans defence tonight was world-class, and could have easily nilled Leeds had the VR decision gone the other way (not commenting on whether it was right or wrong).

Saints will have to do something special to break that defence down, but with Pryce and Eastmond out, will they manage it? The Cunningham factor is a big one though, he'll want to win this match more than he has ever wanted to win one in his career before, and the 16 other Saints players will want it for him too.

Although you can't tell it from the scoreline, I don't think you can fault Leeds effort tonight, it's just that without McGuire they couldn't come up with any special enough plays to break down that superb defence.

I wonder if Mr Senior will have any words about Silverwood this time?

When Warrington scored more points against a stronger Leeds team at Wembley it was because Leeds were crap. Now Wigan do a similar Job and it's World class!!
You couldn't make it up.

The Wigan defence was far too good for Leeds just to get field position and force there way over from short range. However, I don't think Leeds came up with any great plays in attack, and once wigan had contained Eastwood up the middle, Leeds were struggling to do much at all.
