I understand your point about getting players to 1st team level but with regard to the five players named, well that certainly wasn't an exhaustive list, hence the etc etc etc. which you chose to ignore.

Wakefield Trinity have always produced players from their junior system, world record points scorer Neil Fox being a notable one.

In the photo I posted earlier, there are a number of players who went on to play first-team football most notably Gary Spencer and Billy Conway.

I'm not professing that Wakefield Trinity produce more Senior players than any other club I was only defending the point that we've always produced good quality juniors unfortunately we don't always enjoy the fruits of that development.

Let's hope we can hang on to some of these fantastic young players as they develop their professional careers.

considering George came from Hudds, and Pitts is now at Leeds, and Bibb from Hull and then sent to HKR, Brough not going through Wakefields academy system to first team, but from wakefields academy around the houses, making his name at Hull, before moving to Cas then finally being a first team regular at Wakefield,

and considering Morton has played a grand total of three games in his career, no they dont count as players who wakefield have taken through the academy system, in to regular first team players

Ferguson does though

The difference between a predatory club and a club which signs players who have been released from another club is obvious!

Wakefield have produced players via the junior system every season for as long as I can remember!
Some seasons being better than others but we've always produced players!

If you want a definitive list I'm not going to provide it for you!
However the evidence and the facts are out there for you to find, so if you want to know go find them!
