Should be a good game, excited to see Austin!

I'm hopeful Leeds will make a fist of it though don't see us beating a top team away just yet. Mind you, I suppose there's a chance wire won't quite hit their straps first game out. A bit of cohesion in the backs would be a welcome sight because if we don't threaten there we may not threaten at all.

You have to wonder what a string of losses so early in a season would do for confidence and morale at Leeds.
If they can pick up a couple of wins in that lot, I'd call that a result and not get too crushed about league position.

What could work to our advantage is Warrington not knowing much about how Furner’s Leeds will play as they’ve only got a couple of friendlies to look at. Tricky to plan for, but then again Leeds have to execute for that to count.

I don’t think it’ll hit confidence and morale providing we compete ok because they’ll perfectly understand the circumstances of the fixtures and how it’ll work back into their favour later in the year. It’ll only happen really if we take a few bad performing heavy losses.

Spending marquee money on a centre is questionable anyway but spending it on Hurrell was stupid. He looks overweight and is too obsessed with just charging at everyone. No doubt Warrington are better than Leeds but Kendall is a joke with the amount of soft penalties. Also, Patton and Handley are dreadful.

Oh and sorting a shot clock out but still not outlawing playing the ball on players heads and getting a penalty is laughable. I swear it was Ganson that said this was against the spirit of the game. Just where is the skill? Also Westwood diving forward off the mark and playing the ball whilst getting up is spoken of as great effort by the commentators. Amazing.

Chris Hill is an idiot and its about time he got punished for the way he talks to officials and tries to officiate a game. It also looked like the cameras copped him having a go at the linesman.

Leeds forward pack has been beaten in every collision and the players picked out for criticism are walker and hurrell.
