| In think he will get two games possibly more, it. Was dangerous and he didn't drop him but slam him down. That being the case (him getting a ban) then by definition it would be a sending off worthy offence.
What I'm asking is why put it on report and have it watched on video when we have a vr and we have already watched it 3 times within a minute so why not just have the VR review it?

| Last week against London Ali got dropped on his head in a tackle that was as dangerous if not worse than that of Poores. London player got put on report and picked up a ban, maybe its a standard way refs deal with it.

If you found that challenge so offensive, I suggest you go and watch wendyball
There have been so many worse challenges this season that haven’t even warranted a penalty let alone a sending off.

| Maybe it's just another crazy rule that the video referee can't have a say on?
Similar to him not being able to call a forward pass.....like the one that was given to Ellis when he knocked on....that was eventually called as a try....
I can understand if they are marginal.....or flat passes.....but if you asked 10,000 RL fans if that pass was forward, then surely all 10,000 would say it was......so why can't a video referee?

| Ali definitely got dropped on his head against London in what was a very poor tackle! Think the lad got a one game ban which was probably about right as injury was avoided.....with Ali being a big fella though it did look probably worse than it was..
With Poore's effort tonight, I actually think it was a worse tackle as there was a bit more aggression in it....having said that, Aiton kind of softened the blow a little and probably aided Poore in getting off with it. If there's any consistency at all in what I've seen lately he will cop a one match ban which is probably about right...
Unfortunately for Justin he's now a 'marked' man and needs to clean up his act or he is going to undo the good work he does in giving us go forward....

No, the pass from acting half back....to Ellis, that was clearly a yard or two forward....

you maybe right, but roby was guilty of missing many things, like a blatent obstruction by smith that went unpunished 10 metres from the fc line

Yes I agree! He missed a hell of a lot and more than contributed to a slow and scrappy game for the most part! Although it did end up making for a very exciting finish....even more so for me!!
The possible obstruction, I don't think was in a passage of play that was referred to the video referee like the 'forward pass' I am on about.
I think it's a crazy ruling that they can't have a say on a forward pass which they are 100% sure on like he could have been with this one....that ultimately led to a try being scored....

No, that would be the tackle that saw an England international unable to hold onto the ball. Fortunately for Thaler his blatant error in judgement didn't cost the best team the game.

My question is why that tackle goes on report when there is a video referee there? Before Roby had dealt with the incident we had seen three or four replays and saw a clear dangerous tackle. Why couldn't the VR make that judgement?'"
You worrying for Bailey when we play Leeds again in a few weeks??
It was a bad tackle but not the worst spear I have seen this season that has gone on report.

Not at all, Im sure Bailey is looking forward to playing against him, considering the only headlines Poore is getting is for his terrible disciplinary record He is exactly the kind of player Bailey wants to face, an average plodder who is easy to wind up, bread and butter to Bailey.
I don’t disagree there have been worse and will be worse, it wasn’t the worst spear in the world but he picked his legs up, they went above his head and Poore slammed him down. The fact the player wasn’t injured was luck more than judgement and Poore owes Aiton a beer. But it was dangerous, it was stupid and will almost certainly result in a ban, so why wasn’t it dealt with there and then when we have a VR capable of seeing multiple angles within seconds.

Correct a pathetic attempt to big it up, didn't even go past the horizontal. Smokey and his mates seem o bit scared of Poore with two games coming up and unfinished business with Mr "tough guy" Bailey.
One match at the most, grow a pair Smokey.

Yeah, I'm sure Bailey is looking forward to it - he's probably on his prayer mat right now hoping Poore gets several games - save him investing in some spare pairs of pants cos he keeps crapping in them.
